Sun take my pain today
Give the devil back his heart
Do not pray for us
We are not sleeping while the others are sleepin'

Every bone I beg
Every cup is shone
Every bottle
Baby don't be that way

Every talk of the town
Every Julius
Every moth heading towards a flame

Psalm One Hundred and Twenty One
Is that my son comin' over the hillside?

Fine o pray for us
We are not sleeping while the others are sleeping

Every bone I beg
Every cup is shone
Every bottle
Baby don't be that way

Every dog on the prowl
Every Tiberious
Every moth heading towards a flame

mmm mm mm
mmm mm mm
ohhh

Sun take my pain to the East
Cause the day I made my frown

Final prayer for us
Oh he's sleepin'
The devil is sleepin'

Give the devil back his heart
Give the devil back his heart
Give the devil back his heart
Give the devil back his heart

oh oh oh oh
oh oh oh oh

Revelation 3:15-16

15 I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot. 16 So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth.

What a great insult, "I spue thee out of my mouth..."
Lots of fun!  Love the groove, and all the influences.  Big gumbo mix.

reposting explanation of the art...

Hmmm, what was I thinking?

I never appreciated Wishbone Ash in real time, but if this is what they sounded like, I missed something. They were always getting bumped by Tull and Chicago in my dorm room.
Orgasmic, tantric, rhythmic, Wishbone Ash!
Droning and repetitive. PSD PSD PSD

Somehow, I doubt that these guys have ever even heard of Wishbone Ash.

I just really like the way it builds to a back-and-forth loping frenzy and the chanting at the end. Great song.

This song is incredibly annoying.   Make it stop, please
Saw these guys last night opening for Patrick Watson.  They were really good live - better than listening to the album.  Thanking RP for the introduction.

like the way this sounds.
please, settle down...put the cake down and have some water...you're getting way to excited and it's getting close to bedtime.
Why is this played so often?  You can almost count on it being played, kind of like local crap radio!  Sorry, I liked it, but it's played, seemingly, every time I turn on RP.  Now I can't wait until it's over.
so lemme see if I've got this straight...

Peter Gabriel has joined The Who...

didn't see that one coming... {#Eyes}
Never heard this before but REALLY diggin' it!
I like it. Interesting sounds and rhythms. Maybe a little John Kongos in there.
Yes this is sure nice gotta 60's feel to it ...
Cool memorable piece! and yeah, I detected the Whosy, Buckinghamey kinda thing, I will also check Wishbone Ash, thanks for that!
{#Music}
Incredibly annoying guitar track.
good sound

Very unique. Intense. Hypnotic.
wow egroman! good call...I used to listen to Wishbone Ash a lot in the 70's. I wouldn't have made the connection without your nudge

Bump 7 -> 8. There's a bit of a Led Zep', Planty, Pajie (pagey?)  groove going on there.
Damn. Bill is making me spend money again through his links. He will do anything to generate revenue. Very clever that one is. It doesn't seem that long ago when lawyers were trying to make life miserable for him and others at the cutting edge of internet radio. I wonder how much revenue they generate in royalties for them now by getting people to purchase music that they otherwise never would?
Cool stuff! I'll have to check out more of The Barr Brothers. Love the rhythm and guitar line.
Interesting music seems to happen when brothers from the US move to Montreal... Thanks for sharing this with us Bill

(I say that a lot you know)
Ooo, yahh! Nice!!! Just going to check out their album.
This song always gets my attention...I'd like to hear more from this band.
It's got that groovy takamba, camel-walk beat. :)

This song has a somewhat Ethiopian Sound. Love it!

It could be just me, but I'm imagining a Kula Shaker vibe in here as well. Which is cool :o)

Yes, it's a cool tempo - kind of a quirky waltz.

Love the snare riffing.
It's totally terrible, separately and in general.
Love the album cover. Song is pretty decent, too.

This song made me stop what I was doing and look at who it was.
I haven't heard of these guys before.  How's the rest of the album?  AMG has nothing on them.
Hearing a lot of The Who in the epic build late on...in a very good, updated way...
Wow ! This is really cool. Love the way the guitar goes around and around.

Hey Bill!  Love the new stuff, too!
sounds like a lost Lindsey Buckingam track.
I guess you could call this the Folk-y side of The Slip?
