Sounds so dated now.

10 years ago, this kind of sound seemed to make a resurgence.
The Banjo. Oh Yay, the Banjo ... and boy, did The Banjo catch on for a while. 
The Banjo and the Drum and ... fun for a while.

But the reality is, the Banjo isn't that suited - the song would sound massively better with an acoustic guitar.

One of my precious concert moments is Blaudzun playing in a small tent packed with people. Outside, the rain was pouring down. It felt like hugging around a musical bonfire.

Admittedly, "Heavy Flowers" is not their greatest work. Try the album "Seadrift Soundmachine" instead!

Glad to see you're playing this artist. I just heard this album recently and the first couple of songs totally blew me away. "Elephants" and "heavy flowers" were quite distinctive. The rest didn't grab me as immediately but listening to this one on radio paradise made it stick out enough that I looked up from what I was doing to see who it was that was playing. That's a good barometer of its being good.
