I feel like I SHOULD like this, but it just never "lands" for me - a clear "6" for now.

The Banjo. Oh Yay, the Banjo ... and boy, did The Banjo catch on for a while.
The Banjo and the Drum and ... fun for a while.

But the reality is, the Banjo isn't that suited - the song would sound massively better with an acoustic guitar.

No way, no guitar. Yet another singer/songwriter

I'm from another small town in the Netherlands and I have definitely heard of him!  So nice this is played here!
Anyone else find this a bit Arcade Firey?
Tiptoe.

Through the tulips.
I like this!

'never heard of him"...
Shame on you

Reminds me of The Horseflies.

Wow rocking song
One of my precious concert moments is Blaudzun playing in a small tent packed with people. Outside, the rain was pouring down. It felt like hugging around a musical bonfire.

Admittedly, "Heavy Flowers" is not their greatest work. Try the album "Seadrift Soundmachine" instead!
Great Blautzun !!!!

OMG! {#Roflol}
Herman, bring me a glass of blutwein.
You're a ghost rocket and they know who you are.
See, and here I thought Paolo Nutini learned to play the ukulele...

That applies to most music, given that most musicians are of average or below musicianship. SFW?

Funny how some songs elicit such extreme responses.   Love it ! {#Good-vibes}

WOW...  I was blown away by this song.  Thanks RP.
Sometimes I really do think you're just jackin' with us, Bill.  Intentionally bad tunes just to pull our collective chains.  Sucko-barfo mos' def'.

There are several different chords in this song (even in the verses) - either you're not really listening or you don't know what a chord is or sounds like.  Quirky, but not a bad tune - great cover art.

So you're saying that everyone in your hotel room is cowering in the corner?

Oh Sorry, but their gig in Vlaardingen a few months ago was amazingly good. So what do we do now?

Thank you for the warning. Man...if YOU don't like it then it's not a good sign for this band.

No. And so what.

Song reffering to https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ghost_rockets
can they play more than one chord?

Great to see RP discovered Blaudzun. I'm starting to like it very much.

Are you kidding? PLAY SOME ACTUAL MUSIC! (please... ;-)
Take that Mumford!

Only heard two songs from this band so far, but they seem to have a knack for haunting melodies.
Interesting - need to hear it more to see if it grows, I could see coming to really enjoy it.
Beautiful album art
Lovin' it!
This is really growing on me.
Glad to see you're playing this artist. I just heard this album recently and the first couple of songs totally blew me away. "Elephants" and "heavy flowers" were quite distinctive. The rest didn't grab me as immediately but listening to this one on radio paradise made it stick out enough that I looked up from what I was doing to see who it was that was playing. That's a good barometer of its being good.

Makes very good records, just has a new one out now.

Blaudzun? I'm stealing that for my next D&D character name. Otherwise, this tune sounds interesting.
