My toes are a-tapping! Totally thought this was an Afrocelts song I'd never heard.

I can't toe tap or chair dance fast enough to keep up with this tune!!

Enjoyable, and the title of the song is hilarious, as good or better than Electric Larryland.

As somebody named Larry, I respectfully disagree.

No sure its Irish. Sounds to me like AI-generated tune, optimized to inflict maximal pain to whomever is listening

If you don't like it, hit the "skip button" and spare us from your whining!  I think it is GREAT!

Harsh. I'm certain they're trying very hard to make you happy. I'm not sure that's possible.
How can such a small country keep pumping out a world's worth of great musicians?!
More hammered dulcimer, please
Sound kinda like Afro Celt Sound System

I get so tired / bored of this use of Irish music.
I'm sure most of you don't.
Play some Altan please :)
I recently was watching one of my favorite animated movies, The Secret Of Kells, and noticed during the credits that Kila was responsible for much of the music.  It's a story about a boy named Brendan living at the fortress of Kells, the master illuminator who arrives with the unfinished Book of Iona, the fairy girl who befriends & helps the boy, the destruction of the fortress by the Northmen, and the completion of the book by the now-adult Brendan. Beautiful score, absolutely brilliant animation (probably 6-7 different art styles, especially of the illuminated images).
Dig this tune. Never posted comments from my phone before. Doing this on an airplane flight.

Always reminds me of Shooglenifty [excellent Scottish band] when this song starts, then it turns into reminding me of Afro Celt Sound System as it goes on. Love that Bill is always introducing me to bands that are kind of like bands I already love.

Would be nice to hear some Shooglenifty on here (plus many other Scottish or Irish "fusion" bands)! Try Breabach, Manran, Ross Ainsley, etc.

Eclectic Landlady?
PRETTY GOOD! ...and, I usually hate Irish Folk Music. ...I prefer the Irish Music that drunks sing in bars, swinging their beer mugs back and forth!

"Ripped off" is  moral judgement. It could just as well be an homage to Kirsty MacColl.

Or Hairway to Steven

Kirsty MacColl has a 1991 album entitled Electric Landlady.

One of my absolute favourites here on  magical RP. No matter what is happening at the time, this lifts me up and up .... tapping my toes and dancing (in my wheelchair) right along with those fabulously  lovable skeleton dudes. If music can do that for me when my ex-husband just hung up on me, then Life is Good!
Must be part of the fun of being an instrumental band that you can have fun with the song titles. "Eclectic Lady-Man"? No?
"Electric Landlady" - I see what they did there...

Hah - I had to refresh the page a couple times, and voila, they synced right up. Mesmerizing!

Genius!
Ripped off the album name from Kirsty MacColl's "Electric Landlady" from early 90s.

We get teased with this great music but will we ever get to see them here?  UGH

That's the trouble with online comments - "here" means .. nothing really.

Love the way this tune builds from the start. Very nice.

I do love this, are they still around?

By all accounts, it seems that they are indeed still around.  Videos posted on their Facebook page are maybe 16 days old.

What keelo said
Should have been called Eclectic Landlady 😁
That repetitive ding-dong sound in the right speaker is kind of obnoxious
I just wanted to say I love the title of this song bumped from 7 to 9
Well ...

a little different from Electric Ladyland.
Very good show. Go see them if you have the chance.
A little to Afrocelt?
Whoa
Nice roll !
Gotta love the song title.  {#Roflol}

Good timing Bill, it's Celtic Fest round here this week.

No good listening to this if you are trying to get some work done - a complete distraction!

I love this band.....I know them since 9 years ago, and I've watched'em on live several times....Outstanding!
Terriffic bass line bopping along with this one!

This is a riff on a traditional tune called The Flowers of Red Hill. Lots of fun. I just got the title, too - hah!

I like a little celtic now and then.

I think that was just the title of Kirsty's album - which was a play on the title of the similarly-named, Jimi Hendrix album.  I don't believe there is a Kirsty MacColl song with this title.
Long Train' Runnin'...by Doobies. That's all I hear as accompaniment.
This kind of music always helps my typing! Fingers just dance and hop over the keys.... wha-hey!

I also thought of this.
Definitely feeling Afrocelts in here - the fiddle + irish flute over a percussion line is pretty much their bread and butter.  Not bad, I'll dig up some more from them.

Interesting. My immediate thought on hearing this was that it was another Scottish fusion band, of which there are so many in the current musical renaissance in Scotland (Afro-Celt's already been mentioned, also Shooglenifty, Peatbog Faeries, and many many others). However, this predates the renaissance and must have been way ahead of its time. Love at first hearing - a fine mèlange of influences, and just sooo RP. 8 from the Albaphile Nottingham jury.

Wow! First listen and I think this is excellent. Kinda cheeky song title, too!
This is from a 'Best Of' album? Who knew? Thanks to whomever uploaded this gem, and to RP for the platform you provide!

OOOH yes!!!!!
Superb sound quality! *on this end>!
