Lost behind the mask
And hardly aware of it
Drifters from a world
Drifting out of reach
Reaching for your playthings
You know you can't handle them no more
You want those silly things
That you had before
(Chorus)
Alright, just a little closer now
Alright, just a little closer now
People in the past
They never felt like this
In books, in photographs
They had things that they were living for
If there ever was such a thing as love
Then I'm just not feeling it
The time seems almost gone
When we were giving it and receiving it
(Chorus)
Are you happy now you're on your own?
Don't you worry now you're on your own?
Does anybody help you, is everybody gone?
Are you happy now you're on your own?
(Chorus)
Are you happy now you're on your own?
Don't you worry now you're on your own?
Staring at the billboards blocking out the sun
Aren't you happy when the day is done?

Is this the guy from Magdrada,
Sivert is talented
Am I the only person that thinks this guy's music is pedestrian? His voice is amazing, but so is Celine Dion's.

On his website the influences for his forthcoming album are described as "90s black metal, industrial noise, krautrock, and French pop." I don't think he's winning me over anytime soon.

No mistaking his voice... It's nice to hear him w/o the echo

LOL! I thought I would sneak in an edit to my comment, about how it was less reverby. Did that, then popped back to see a handful of new comments, including yours. :-)
I love everything from this album.
Awesome!  Caught me also off-guard.

This man´s a genius, the song; A SOLID TEN.
Caught me off guard... thought it sounded like him, yet not. A bit less reverbed baritone than other stuff of his I've heard.
