when the wind bares the trees
and them clouds are pushin' east,
come on inside,
dry your clothes,
warm your bones,
get a glass and set yourself at ease.

when the dust in your room
covers all that you do
get yourself outside
mornin train pull it away
hear the whistle play and set yourself at ease.

theres a house by the hill,
how i long for it still,
my home sweet home,
home sweet home,

home, home, home, home.

Indeed, there's an amazing set going on here (Radical Face, Moby, Porcupine Tree), absolutely striking the balance for me.

The oh-oh-ooh at the end reminds me of Biko, by the way.

Again, great set today.  This is a great song, cheery stuff mixing a bit of Simon and Garfunkel with George Formby.  Happy, to my ear.  I like it a lot.

I listen to music to break up the monotony of life, not add to it. Yuck!

My new favourite band, discovered, as always, here! :)

Heard this for the first time in September on RP and liked it enough to look them up.  Saw they were playing near my sister in Seattle on her birthday in November, and next thing you know I had tickets for a birthday present for her.  She liked them a lot, and then I ended up getting this album and another of theirs from her for Christmas.  Anyhow, we like Eliot Brood now, and RP has moved the economy forward.

Cute story, flyboy. thanks for sharing! nice tune, as well.

I like this.
I really must re-learn how to play my uke.
Great Canadian band!  Glad to see they're building a fan-base outside Canada :)
I love this song!
Weird that this Torontonian heard of these guys from a California radio station,
but heck, that's just Bill for you...
he finds the gems everyone else overlooks!

No, it lacks bilateral symmetry - looks like a mountain meadow to me....

Nice to see you're still around, Fred.

Which, if you heard George Formby in his heyday, is remarkable, now I come to think of it.

I am from Toronto and have been a huge fan for years. If you like what you hear, there are 3 CD's each one excellent.
Do yourself a favour and see them live if you can
You have my attention Elliott Brood. That was some good stuff on first listen. 8.
