you may be blue
but you dark my day
throw shadows my way
break my mind
while you say that you've been treating me kind
who are you foolin'?

my time with you
beat a thorn-filled path
blood filled where we passed through
blood red with wrath
you all knew that we'd be fine
find by nothing at all

I know my way
and it won't be long
you're gonna wake one day
to find me gone
and there won't be nothing but goodbye
nothing nothing but goodbye

Play it again, Sam!
The riff reminds me a bit of Free Until They Cut Me Down by Iron & Wine

bellissima canzone 10+
Fantastic, keep this in rotation Bill!

What? Happy together??
"imagine me and you..."
Wow,  lovin' this track.

Thanks Bill & Co  ❤️

agree 100 %
Great little tune!
Awesome jam... shades of CCR with that swamp rock sound.  Hard to believe it only scores 7.3.

Bill & Rebecca are true artists.

I didn't say anything about copyright infringement. It just reminded me alot of "Cherokee Nation." Everything is derivative in art and music. C'mon man, learn to not jump to conclusions before you accuse people of false accusations.
I really love the chord progressions

Dr. Who? I can't here that. But I miss Dr.Who in the playlist!)

Say whaaa?
I'm gettin' too old for this sh*t.   ; )

I've heard this one at work a few times this month... man is it an earworm!   That hook is insidious in the best way.  8 > 9

Should follow this with Fatboy Slim...the wolf is at the door.
The end of the song seems like it could segue right into 'Love Street' by The Doors...

Fabulous comments beautiful people, Cheers!   (I also dig that weird thorny looking cover-art : )

pic of Sheriff Joe Arpaio

But Sheriff Joe Arpaio would like to borrow any of those videotapes you've got stashed in the special closet...
The bass and guitar work, especially at the end, remind me of the rock-solid jamming on "Amerikon" on Blows Against The Empire...

Makes you wonder whether Potter was a girlie-show barker in an earlier life...   {#Dance}

What amazes me is that so many people these days are quite eager to display their bodies and sex lives on the Web. Not sure if that's a healthy thing or not but we're a far ways from peeking at National Geographics and the odd Playboy magazine.

I've never heard those words used together in a sentance before. It seems rather queer to me.

I like this song.  Smooth.  It'd be a good driving song, or good for doing touch and goes in the plane.

Again, posting late at night will invite incongruous thoughts and phrases into your mind. The 70s blue movies I've seen were more relaxed, happier and...fun than a lotta stuff made now. This song has a relaxed but slinky, sultry, doncha-ya-wanna vibe to it that reminds me of those films, although not as much this evening. {#Think}

The movie "Boogie Nights" caught this change in porn and culture quite well. It also showed the emotional toll those movies take on actors and audience if they get too caught up in them.

This tune doesn't especially remind me of that, but that combination sounds pretty cool.  This has got very different chords and melody than those of "Happy Together".
I was expecting some Donovan with that guitar at the beginning... and following the BST and Zepp.

See below your first comment: "Crew Slut" from Joe's Garage by Frank Zappa. The Youtube link will take you there.

Strangely, at 1:50ish am, it now reminds me of a mix between soundtracks to a Western and good-natured porn.

Could be a top 100 in your year end countdown considerations.

Listening on a bus on my way home, finally. Long day, its 22:50 in Tel-Aviv. Great song to unwind.  Thanks!

 I thought the same... it would be Crew Slut off Joe's Garage. Birdman wrote:

I saw a jaybird wearing socks the other day - but they never wear shoes.  Good song.
Everyone sez this is great background music, I just want to sing along.............{#Lol}
Catchy little tune.

There's something about the underlying riff that makes me think of a syncopated Pink Floyd...
Cool groove for sure.
Ditto on the bobble head comment. My head is bobbin' as I try to do homework reading... RP is a good distraction...{#Dance}

True, true, but early pornographic actors always kept their socks on, the men did, anyway.
Once again, this has me thinking...hmm, sounds kind of familiar...and yet, kinda different — usually the sign of a good piece of music! Dig it!

Nice change-up pitch... Not dramatic, just enough expansion of beat, bass and dancing strings to expand the awareness... What comes next-?  Just another good reason to keep listening and recommending... Thanks
I feel like a big bobblehead right now...

I really like this.
Dreamy
First i ever heard this band/song whatever. It's pretty good. I'll open with a 7
Never heard this - but really cool - quite likable at least!

Why hello, spaghetti-westernish tremolo keyboards!  {#Meditate}
Very cool... almost hypnotic.
Exquisite guitar and tempo...
Dig it, solidly.{#Bananajam}
