Muse lyrics not withstanding, life on Earth does not violate the 2nd Law. In a closed system the total entropy (usually) increases with time. There is nothing in the 2nd Law that precludes some parts of a system from having their entropy decreased. We do it every second of our lives. But, loosely speaking, the process of reducing the entropy in one thing (say by metabolism) will necessarily increase the entropy of something else (waste body heat).

The music is nice, but the preachy pseudo-science and sound bites are just irritating. Bring up problems sure, and I agree the human race has issues... But this just feels so hokey, and detracts from the music itself.

I'm always puzzled by the fact that life on Earth seems to have defied the 2nd Law of Thermodynamics (so far).
I was hoping that a pop/rock song with news sound bites on this subject could provided some enlightenment.
After all some pop/rock makes me feel I can get to grips with concepts like love/hate/war/religion etc.
Sadly not in this case.
Maybe they should have started with something simpler - Newton's 2nd Law of Motion?

The set list/pacing was disappointing as the quieter songs sucked the energy out of the crowd. The concert lacked flow (not enough up tempo songs IMO). The stage and lighting was decent. Short concert as well 1-1/2 hours start to finsh. Thankfully the tickets were free.
