My sentiments exactly... I like it but cannot help but feeling that this is a cover of Piazzolla and not an original piece.
Reminds me Astor Piazzolla - Oblivion
This flesh quartet seems to have five members. Just sayin...

Musical mimes? Just guessing from the cover. Interesting sound. First time I ever heard of this group. Thanks Bill!

"Musical Mimes" would be a good band name; but there's a chance that each CD would be silent.

Google translate tells me it means "Pork Quartet", which is available down the street at Townline BBQ, with coleslaw and corn bread (wash it down with root beer) Cheers!

And "Fläskkvartetten" is the sound you'll be making a couple hours after the Pork Quartet.  ; )

That cover makes me think of Bauhaus, but with a sense of humour and fun Bauhaus rather lacked. This is a very nice piece, with subliminally disturbing undertones, but maybe that's just the minor key. Intriguing, and leaving this listener eager for more. Can any of RP's big Scandinavian following translate the title into English, please?

When someone above says 'Pork Quartet', that has to be as good a translation as any I can think of. But, you would have to know that the name itself is referring (perhaps un-holly, but not really of course) in tongue-in-cheek manner, to the well known and venerated classical Swedish string Quartet 'Fräsk Quartetten' (Fresco Quartet). They (Fläsk) have been among my favorites for many years for their Frank Zappa'esque approach to anything musical. There is much humor in everything they do, but their sound can become tiresome over time and their releases are few and far between. But I smile inside for having heard this on RP!

Thanks Bill and the Nottingham jury.
I'm not sure what to make of this. I'll have to hear it a few more times. And thank you RP: confounding me with things I can't immediately pigeonhole is why I tune in.

Supergroup from Sweden. Here up north they might not selling thousands of albums but they are everyones influence. This song, a solid EIGHT. (Lave= Headframe, structural piece in a mineshaft).

Something new (for me at least) and quite likeable as well. Thank you!
