a bit of a '70s blues rock funk vibe.

Got me. This goes down to a 1 for me.
Am I missing something? This song seems retro-lame-o.
I am surprised that I think I like this.  It has a lot of elements I typically don't care for.

Morcheeba does a song "Trigger Hippie" but I have no idea why that would be their name. Joan is a fan?

I am liking it a little better this listen.  Whew.
Trigger Hippy is an American Rock and Roll band composed of Black Crowes drummer Steve Gorman, session guitarist Tom Bukovac, singer Joan Osborne, singer/songwriter and Black Crowes guitarist Jackie Greene and bassist Nick Govrik. Formerly of the group are Widespread Panicguitarist Jimmy Herring and former Black Crowes guitarist Audley Freed.
Rocks
Quite Likeable..
A little bit like The Pretenders
It's got a sort of Turin Brakes sound.
...pretty cool, just kick back and enjoy the ride for what it is...
This is cool,  I like it!

Well-produced, but it just isn't for me. Sounds like basic bar music, for two such talented musicians.
Yeehaw!  Tickets for their Boston show just after the new year!  Joan Osborne with some serious guitars and a pounding drummer!  Again I say, yeehaw!
I would have absolutely loved this . . . 40 years ago.
I just heard something about turpentine in the summertime going down a drain.
Jackie Green? Wow.
that didn't sound like him.
I've been surprized not to hear any of his stuff on here.
Been meaning to upload some, but just haven't had the time.

This tune was pretty cool. IMO.
