I was an indie kid, The Audience were an indie band that she made made a bit special - loved them! She's done a lot of great music since, mainly for the dance floor/ kitchen! I take my hat off to her.

i was so surprised to read the interprets name.  

(though at the end i heard 'always lobster' instead of 'always close to' and i kind of liked that. 😊reminded me of that 70s psychorocksong that's sometimes played on RP)

She starts out with a lot of credit to me just for her fabulous, warm, sexy vocals on "Murder on the dancefloor".
Just learning that she made a new album at all (I had no idea) makes me curious; I just got the last minute of the song, but it seems to me she's trying to do something original.
I'll have to listen to more of this, but I'm giving her a 7 as benefit of doubt ;)
