I'm turning the pages
Of the book that I've read
I was sleeping for ages
Now I know I am dead

The trees in the summer
The rivers with ice
I cannot remember
My lost paradise

Far far away
No one can say
Where we'll be tomorrow
Far far away

A man in the distance
The darkness outside
I walk through my head
I walk to the light

Far far away
No one can say
Where we'll be tomorrow
Far far away

Everything I love
Becomes a memory

Far far away
Nothing today
Not a thing tomorrow
Far far away

Far far away
I've got nothing to say
When blue turns to grey
Far far away

Maybe Wilco has kind of a Nits-vibe

Hope The Mescaleros got some credit for this one.

I was patrolling a Pachinko
Nude noodle model parlor in the Nefarious zone

agreed!  I thought RP had uncovered nice Mescaleros tune that I hadn't heard previously.
If you are always scratching your head when you hear this song does it mean you have Nits 🤔🤪

If you go into a record store looking for this specific artist, does that mean you're Nit-picking?

'nother song I've never heard and really enjoyed.

Who else but RP?  (This is a rhetorical question.  But you already knew that.)

The Mondo Bongo is strong in this one.

I've always loved the easy melancholy tunage of this song...  had time this afternoon to slow down and catch all the lyrics this time... had to up my rating.   This is just a beautiful piece of songwriting.
really good, another one. thanks RP.
The album cover does remind me of an afternoon spent washing the kids' hair and running a nit comb through it, seeking out tiny specks of white! That was a bit like looking for ghosts in a forest...
BTW: Is the band name "Nits," (as it appears on said cover), or "The Nits?"
so Jeff Tweedy of Wilco, and so nice
love it!

Veel plezier ! heb ze zelf al vele malen gezien vanaf periode Nescio tot in de 2010's ...

Great band

Or, as my Dad used to call me as a kid:  A nit - short, probably, for Nitwit.  Silly boy.

sounds like Paul Williams to me.
I must say, I'm impressed with The Nits' songs I've heard on RP... Quite a talented bunch! Like Imic, I definitely get a Wilco vibe from it
Lousy.

Like it and my ears need to hear more of them.  7 for starters. Thanks RP.

edit:  forgot who it was and thought it was Tom Petty until I checked ...
Thanks for playing '' Far far away,'' there's no time like the present.
More Nits on RP, please! {#Roflol}
Great to hear The Nits on RP,  but not my favourite song. I love the melancholic feel of Bauhaus Chair and Adieu Sweet Bahnhof.

More Nits please!

It sounded like Tim Finn to me, so I had to look. Decent song.

Always good to hear the Nits, pleasant surprise to see them reaching the US {#Music}
Very glad to hear the Nits on Radio Paradise.

I didn't hear their music for years, but remember to have seen them several times in Brussels 25 or 30 years ago. They've made really great songs.
I hope we'll hear more from them. I remember a song called " The Dutch Mountains", or something like that. I would like to hear that :)

Thanks in each case for their presence on RP
Boring.
Or Norwegian Fields?

Has a nice Jayhawks vibe to it in some ways. Very nice...
