In the dead of the night I start to lose control
But I still carry the weight like I've always done before
It gets so heavy at times but what more can I do
I got to stay on track just like pops told me to

I really don't think you know
There could be hell below, below
I really do hope you know
There could be hell below, below

When the music is done and all the lights are low
I will remember the times when love would really glow
I could dream ahead before my world turn blue
And the light inside would only shine for you

I really don't think you know
There could be hell below, below
I really do hope you know
There could be hell below, below

I really don't think you know
There could be hell below, below
I really do hope you know
There could be hell below, below

Ah, faked out... the opening sounds like a Peter Green/Fleetwood Mac song and I got excited, but alas, it isn't.
Good Tune!  It is  the first time I've heard this tune. I thought that noise was my stomach growling, Too much cabbage stew (kapusta)!   LOL!  Thanx RP!
The Black Keys Rock
Given my pretty general dislike of these guys...this isn't awful...catchy groove tbh...

Cadillac had a model called the Fleetwood, they should have stuck with it like Audi did with Quattro!

Now there's an album cover to skin up on. Ahh vinyl.
I believe Dan Auerbach still performs with the Black Keys...as well as doing other things as well.I saw him on Tiny Desk Concerts on NPR...he was excellent.Multi-talented artist!!
Image result for tyranny and mutation
Don't care what others say This is awesome.
This is a cool "chill" song. Love it!

Human nature. People are much more likely to complain about something they don't like than to express positive thoughts about something they do like. Might explain how we end up with certain unseemly elected officials.

Yes. I love PSD.
Most disappointing album of last year.  Not good stuff.

Sludgy, bile-inducing sound. Not nice. PSD.
The lead in reminds me of MC 900 Foot Jesus "I light the fires"

Leaves me wondering what would happen if RP were to play some Nine Inch Nails, or Ministry, or ABBA....  I'm thinkin' "messy explosion."

On another note, I just took my son to see the Keys, again, in Oakland:
I hate large venues.I hate large indoor venues.The Keys were playing in Sacramento the next day, and I'm guessing/hoping this is why they played a zero-fat, by the numbers show.Their style seems to be 1:30 minutes of no talking, no breaks, just straight out tight, tight music.Wow, they ARE good.  Kinda like Chris Isaak, these guys are very serious about their musicianship, what you hear on disc is what you get live — no production trickery.Band size has increased since "El Camino Tour" from 3 to at least 6 members, one of whom is another guitarist — that's where that particular sound comes from on the title track (synchronized playing).Good, non-obtrusive, complimentary neo-psychodaelic video show.Opening act, "Jake Bugg," was a really, really talented young blues rocker.  I will search out his music.The only thing concert-wise I hate more than arena shows is the TicketMasters of the world.  Filthy, scum-sucking, over-reaching, conniving middlemen!  After the $38 face-value, TicketMaster's skim raised the cost to ~$75, and then Stub-Hub's skimming topped things out at >$85!!!  The worst parts are that a Google search revealed NO alternatives, like going to the box-office, which I would have done had I known that TicketMaster was in the food chain.  It wasn't until I had paid for and printed the tickets did TicketMaster's name appear ... printed on the tickets!!!  TicketMaster's website had equivalent seats for a few dollars more.?  ABSOLUTELY NO VALUE ADDED  {#Skull}

How can the artists tolerate getting 40% of every ticket dollar?  This is the stuff that gets me to stop going to shows and that's gotta hurt artists in this time of teeny CD sales.

Now that's my kind of rant!

Couldn't say it any better!

I quite like the Keys but all i keep hearing in this track is the chorus from
'Jesus is Just Alright With Me'

Couldn't tell if my stomach was rumbling, or if it was this track. Apparently it's both.

Yes, there's some kind of growly noise that's being phased in and out in the background that's really irritating.
Rock-Music can hardly be better!
I strangely liked it....
Hmmmm  a bit of a programing mishap.  Does not sound like Joan Osborn to me on vocals.  At least that who it was suppose to be according to the intro Bill just gave.
Over-played. I used to like them, but hearing them waaayyyyyyy too often on RP.

yeah, they may 'soundalike' many things but they sound GREAT. Maybe sounds a lot of us have never heared before. As you say, keep it coming.
Not again....*sigh*.

Nice riffs

A masterstroke! Sublime and catchy!!
too much "sounds like" on this album...

Really?

I an't imagine how something so innocuous would be that offensive..... Sounds pretty damn good to me
I'm sorry, but I have to ask. Is the title somehow an homage to The Ghoul?

Not resting on their considerable laurels, eh?
Turn Blue is a good sound

Will be a fun summer cd.

Yes! They did it again.
Can't wait to start hearing this on every other car commercial and Apple ad.

Liking it - especially the "Jetson's - like" sound effects...

Wow! I thought this was a slow Arcade Fire song.
It caught my attention and I did not know it was the Keys, early spring surprise too. Maybe this has leaked all over but I have never heard it before.

I look forward to new music from The Black Keys, thanks.
Not sure what to say about this yet - so I'll say that.  Jury is still out on this album....
