When I was a young boy
And time was passing by
Real slow
And all around was wonder
And all around the great unknown
With eyes that slowly opened
I set about the wisdom to know
And living out of language
Before one word I spoke
I heard the call

There is somebody there I know
There is somebody there I know it so
There is somebody there I know
There is somebody there I know it so

Now high upon the mountain
Where green has turned to golden
Shine on so
Below the world's unfolding
Unravelled and exploding, it was always so
I'm rolling and I'm tumbling
Through all your fields of plenty, here I go
Come walk a mile beside me
Come love me and come guide me
Hear the call

There is somebody there I know
There is somebody there I know it so
There is somebody there I know
There is somebody there I know it so

The road calls to my heart
Your love will warm my blood
The sun will shine down evermore
Wine is in the cup

There is somebody there I know
There is somebody there I know it so
There is somebody there I know
There is somebody there I know it so

I like him more with Led Zeppelin!!!!!
Quite glad that RP did not take this song into rotation as the first one from this otherwise great album. Would never have considered to buy the CD in that case.

Just because you don't like it doesn't make it bad. Sorry to break the news to ya!
Robert who?
I like him more with the band of joy, Patty, or Allison.
Yeah, this is just bad.
This shouldn't have been released.
Weak song from a very good release.
Perhaps he should stick to duets say like the last song
Bleck.......
I generally like plant's music, but find that his lyrics generally do not surpass the "teenage pseudo-deep" level unfortunately...
Didn't do a thing for me.
sounds like he's trying to find his inner Ray Davies
I'm a huge fan of Robert Plant but I'm not digging this one.
This is not he best song on this new release, imo.  I admire Plant for pursuing his solo career with innovation, singing with new combos, using new rhythms, all the while making musical references to his past, back even to early LZ.
This one seems a little closer to his LZ roots than some of the other tracks from this disk. It seems there is some nice variety on this. Gonna have to add this to my library!

There is somebody there. I KNOW!
I had a first listen to the album last night and I am very impressed. I have a feeling it will be a grower. Well done Mr Plant.
