Golden brown texture like sun
Lays me down with my mind she runs
Throughout the night
No need to fight
Never a frown with golden brown

Every time just like the last
On her ship tied to the mast
To distant lands
Takes both my hands
Never a frown with golden brown

Golden brown finer temptress
Through the ages she's heading west
From far away
Stays for a day
Never a frown with golden brown

Never a frown with golden brown
Never a frown with golden brown
Never a frown with golden brown
Never a frown with golden brown

Blecch, why bother, it's pitiful. A well deserved 1.
This is not different enough from The Stranglers's definitive version. Go, Jean-Jacques!

It's an interesting choice to cover with just an acoustic guitar, especially given the song's unusual time signatures.

Been watching this guy on YouTube for several years, he covers some of my favorite songs pretty well. I think, " ortoPilot," is more of a YouTube handle than a band name. I think this cover is him playing and singing everything himself. I've always thought his voice is pretty nearly identical to Damien Rice's?

Taken in the context that this is basically one guy in his basement, I think it's pretty damn good.

Also been watching on youtube... unfortunately most of his covers, like this one, just miss the mark.
