I do not have an answer to this exact question, but just last night I chanced upon a Robyn Hitchcock album that consists only of Dylan songs, performed in a manner that is remarkably close to Dylan's. I found it rather compelling. He even includes songs from the basement tapes bootleg in the style of the original. I found this on Apple Music but it's probably available elsewhere, should anyone be interested.

This song has the most manufactured-sounding lyrics since Rebecca Black. I don't care who sings it, it's just flat-out terrible as a song.
Heard a review on NPR, they liked it. The cut they used were ok but I was unimpressed. Of course I not a big Ryan Adams fan.
