You can watch entire 2Cellos concerts on YouTube. It was sold out in Ottawa at the National Arts Centre. Most of their shows are sold out or almost and they play pretty big venues all over the world. These two Croatians started out with years of classical training as soloists then broke free from the conventions and restrains while still able to keep a relationship with the conventional world of the classical musicians.

When you watch a 2Cellos show whether YouTube or in person you quickly arrive at the fact that they are very special guys adding their great talents to the world in a completely fresh way, 2Cellos also perform with their friend, a drummer, to expand & push the walls out.

2Cellos take their precision seriously but that never slows the show down; they take their instruments beyond the limits intended for cellos.

Hurray for those who can open such vistas and demonstrate them to us; there aren't as many who work as hard as 2Cellos does; it can wear you out just watching...

Thank You for the info!  RP introduced me to them, now I like a LOT of their music.  Thanx RP!

I like this version better.

(it's a Michael Jackson - Barenaked Ladies (Barenaked Jacksons?!?) mashup)

Exactly...the same can be said for Donald Drumpf

This is great!!
I think they need to add a violin in here to give this some gritty texture; as is, seems to 'smooth' for me.
I'm a huge fan of these guys. Their version of ACDC's Thunderstruck is even better than this one (and this one is good). The video is a riot:

Trigger warning: If you are sensitive to seeing bows literally being shredded, pass on this one. {#Biggrin}
{#Boohoo}{#Boohoo}Thanks Bill & Rebecca
Normally I love cello versions of pop songs. The tempo on this is giving me a headache.
Michael, are you OK, hearing this version?
I first saw these guys on YouTube. If that's where you found them, then it's great that Radio Paradise is supporting artists who got their start on YouTube. Pentatonix, Lindsey Stirling, and Peter Hollens are several other artists I found through their YouTube videos. 2Cellos is fantastic. If you haven't seen their mashup videos, here are a couple: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uT3SBzmDxGk and https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x8yymm3DtVA .
no please , they are embarissing, boring and genuinely commercial. free the world from that  !!
Good wakeup music.

Must be the reverb.

This is OK to hear once in a very long while. Two plays per month is a while not long enough…
Take the time to see these guys in concert  they are INCREDIBLE!!!
Well, that's kinda different.
As the old saying goes 'just because you CAN play it on two cellos doesn't mean you SHOULD play it'.
About as much fun as fingernails down a chalkboard.
Since all is going so well, perhaps introduce her to Bond, or Apocalyptica or Vitamin String Quartet?
Have to admit 2 Cellos is campy as hell but I have a daughter who fell in love classical music listening to 2 Cellos and The Piano Guys.  These guys are very talented -we have seen them both in concert and yes they're corny as hell (2 Cellos covering Ac/DC ah!!!! The Humanity!!!) But it facilitated my daughter's love of the classics so I believe that if it keeps her from listening to Beyonce or such other crap, I'm a big fan.
How did this get on the playlist!

I fully appreciate that I am not going to like everything on here and most of the time I am happy to wait for the next track but oh how I hate classical covers of mainstream music and this just makes my ears bleed, ouch.
No, just no.

Dreadful. Just like the original, but much worse.

I used to play the cello so I love hearing artists expanding the spectrum...
tight and right this.. {#Mrgreen}

we were in Cabo San Lucas several years ago at Sammy Hagar's Cabo Wabo cantina and they were playing a badass, thumping loud, deathmetal version of this song. It was awesome!
omg, they played this a week ago, RP is messing with our minds, seriously I don't think Bill gets it as far as the effect that Jackson and Aliean Ant Farm had on us, he must have had good insulation
No. Just no.

Quickest PSD in the history of listening to RP.

That's like strangling a kitten while dragging its claws down a blackboard.
I'm pretty sure I hear a third cello....

I agree, but this is amusing.

Interesting - all the elements that classical playing tries to exclude - are embraced, here.
The richness of sounds they produce with two instruments is quite impressive.

#4 to comment. Pretty cool and very eclectic. Thanks for the intro Bill.
why not?
I'm #2... wait...
I'm #1 to comment at least, but not to rate.
Very eclectic and interesting.
Listening on my laptop speakers, so I'm giving this a 7 on first listen.
Hope to hear on a better sound system next time.
