This song has a great hook. Probably that's why a prime candidate for the Instagram reels. If you dont pick in few couple of seconds people are going to scroll away. Considering that aim, the song has delivered. But as a entire song listen, the song did not work for me. It is too repetitive and plain.  Frankly this is the first time I heard it completely, it was only insta reels before it. But Kudos to RP to keep connected with the mainstream pop culture. It kinda offers a palette cleanser. :)

Downvoting because it's becoming too often heard (instagram for instance).  Just like the Beatles/Journey/Michael Jackson, I'm hearing it too often.  Nothing to do with talent, creativity or anything else - I just like an eclectic mix without hearing the same song repeated over and over -  which is why I listen to RP.

I loved this song on first hearing (on RP, of course).  I heard it again and started watching her videos.  I hear it again on RP and my heart skips -- turn it up!  Is it possible that Jain is one of my new favorites?  She's a latter-day pop artist, right? She ought to be in the same category as Cyndi Lauper in the 80s or Mariah Carey in the 90s. But I do not hear them on RP, and that, my friends, is the acid test.  Thank you for Jain, and LLRP!

While there are certainly some gaps in the broad span of genres that could be presented on Radio Paradise, I would have to think that they are mainly a matter of stylistic choice and not at all a matter of ethnic or racial exclusion. There is a ton of blues on here by people other than SRV & Johnny Winter; there is plenty of Soul music by people other than Joe Cocker  & Steve Winwood; big band, jazz, R&B, etc. are fairly well represented across the spectrum, plus the multitude of offerings directly from Africa.

Would I like to see more high-quality, more modern R&B? Yes; my personal knowledge is limited, but I'm sure William & Alanna can curate some gems. Rap? Definitely. Metal? Sure. I don't know if I myself would want to gather in stuff like Pop Country or K-Pop or House Music, but there are talented artists releasing well-crafted songs of all types and those of us that tune in for the eclectic nature of this station should welcome the opportunity to broaden our horizons.

You're probably right that there are other artists performing rhythmic dance music that is even better than this, but Jain's songs are certainly worthy and she is not being featured on here as a slight to black musicians.

I cannot disagree more, being seven decades old, RP covers not only the racial spectrum, but music through the ages; classical to classic rock to modern, and quite a spattering of international variety as well. With no commercial interruptions. If it is boring, hit the 'Next Song!' I've been listening to internet radio feeds since the mid '90s, nothing compares to RP's variety and flavor. BTW, I'm a musician, have been for 58 years, this is simply my opinion. I agree with you about the Makeba tune though, mediocre and off center of the genre a bit; a bit too trendy & common.
