Fly into the rising sun,
Faces, smiling everyone
Yeah, she is a whole new tradition
I feel it in my heart

My woman from Tokyo
She makes me see
My woman from Tokyo
She's so good to me

Talk about her like a Queen
Dancing in a Eastern Dream
Yeah, she makes me feel like a river
That carries me away

My woman from Tokyo
She makes me see
My woman from Tokyo
She's so good to me

But I'm at home and I just don't belong ...

So far away from the garden we love
She is what moves in the soul of a dove
Soon I shall see just how black was my night
When we're alone in Her City of light

Rising from the neon gloom
Shining like a crazy moon
Yeah, she turns me on like a fire
I get high

My woman from Tokyo
She makes me see
My woman from Tokyo
She's so good to me

Janis Joplin, James Brown?
Prince?

Wilson Pickett could get after it--check out his cover of "Hey Jude" with Duane Allman on slide guitar.

Jim Morrison had some good screams as well...
Love the snare sound and the drum roll at the begenning

No comments?  O.K. I'll start. Ian Gillan has (had, I guess) the best scream in rock, hands down.

His best screams are actually on the original brown cover concept album of Jesus Christ Superstar where he sang the part of Christ...It's true!  It's the only version of that musical I will listen too.  Truly the rock opera version.  Everything else just feels wrong.
Wonder if his woman uses brown sugar.......
Great band!I love them!
Good stuff.

How about a Deep Purple tune from the Tommy Bolin era? Maybe 'Drifter' from 'Come Taste the Band'?

That is a great track from an underrated album
