Pressure pushing down on me
Pressing down on you, no man ask for
Under pressure that burns a building down
Splits a family in two, puts people on streets

Um ba ba be
Um ba ba be
De day da
Ee day da - that's okay

It's the terror of knowing what the world is about
Watching some good friends screaming, "Let me out!"
Pray tomorrow gets me higher
Pressure on people, people on streets

Day day de
Da da ba ba
Okay

Chipping around, kick my brains around the floor
These are the days it never rains but it pours
Dee da ba ba
Ee dee da ba ba
Dee do da
Ba da
People on streets
Da da dee da de
People on streets
Da da dee da dee da dee da

It's the terror of knowing what the world is about
Watching some good friends screaming, 'Let me out'
Pray tomorrow gets me higher, higher, the higher

Turned away from it all like a blind man
I sat on a fence but it don't work
Keep coming up with love but it's so slashed and torn
Why, why, why, why?
Oh love, love, love, love, love, love, love
Insanity laughs under pressure we're breaking

Why can't we give ourselves one more chance?
Why can't we give love that one more chance?
Why can't we give love, give love, give love, give love
Give love, give love, give love, give love?

Love's such an old-fashioned word
And love dares you to care for
The people on the edge of the night
And love dares you to change our ways of
Caring about ourselves
This is our last dance
This is our last dance
This is ourselves
Under pressure
Under pressure
Pressure
Under pressure
Pressure

Had to up this from 7 to 8 after reading all those Willie Nelson haters again.

Good to hear Willie sing something close to on key again.  He brings me many good Texas memories.
Karen O and Oscar the Grouch
The Karen O verses are really nice and give the song a different, more mournful vibe. I love Willy, but I just don't think this song is in his wheelhouse. Sadly, his verses just don't work and his style is too jarring after Karen O's. Would love to have a version with just Karen O.
About as good as Tiny Tim singing tiptoe through the tulips. Worth hearing the first few bars... once.
Hey, Willie was 87 years old when he sang this duet!
Blame the people in city hall - they’re fuckin’ it up for the people that’s in the streets.
Sweet, touching, compassionate.  Rather beautiful!
Ballsy move to cover this.

I want to like it more like than I do, but this just makes me miss the original.

How to make a great song crap.!

This is not half bad.

You're right. It's much worse than that.
Coming up next...

Karen O — Ice, Ice, Baby (w/ Willie Nelson)
shit
Hard pass, sorry.
This is not half bad.
Sub out Johnny Cash for Willie Nelson and this song might've had a chance.

(yeah, I know that train left the station)
So three people gave this a ten, thinking this is as good as music gets!

So that's Karen O, Willie Nelson + ??

Sorry, awful.

I agreed with you the first time I heard it. But each time I listened, Willie's performance became a little more powerful. I find the fragility and emotion in his voice to be quite touching.
I typically do not mind covers that sound quite differently than the original. Actually I gave 10 to quite a few of those.
But this one just does not work. The original is so much better and more powerful. 1 for me.

I was just about to disagree with you as Karen O kinda sounded nice. But then - THEN half-drunk mumbling Willie Nelson faded in. I like pizza and beer, but not pre blended! So. Not sorry. I'm in violent agreement: This is so batshit awful it hurts.
Sorry, awful.
