I got chills
They're multiplying
And I'm losing control
'Cause the power you're supplying
It's electrifying!

You better shape up
'Cause I need a man
And my heart is set on you
You better shape up
You better understand
To my heart I must be true
Nothing left
Nothing left for me to do

You're the one that I want
Oo-oo-oo, honey
The one that I want
Oo-oo-oo, honey
The one that I want
Oo-oo-oo, the one I need
Oh, yes, indeed

If you're filled
With affection
You're too shy to convey
Meditate in my direction
Feel your way

I better shape up
'Cause you need a man
I need a man
Who can keep me satisfied
I better shape up
If I'm gonna prove
You better prove
That my faith is justified
Are you sure?
Yes I'm sure down deep inside

[3x]
You're the one that I want
Oo-oo-oo, honey
The one that I want
Oo-oo-oo, honey
The one that I want
Oo-oo-oo, the one I need
Oh, yes, indeed

This is an excursion from the RP rating spectrum.  I would rate it as something orthogonal to the line.  Somewhere out in the meeting of deeply disturbing and incredibly intriguing.  Where gravity meets quantum mechanics for tea.
Very seldom do I truly dislike a song to the point I'm absolutely disgusted with it. This is the one.
The original is fun and fine and certainly did not need covering.
I rarely "PSD" but here we go...
Where's the vomit emoji.  A well deserved 1.
This actually works REALLY well (there - I said it!)
Chadwick has a lot of great music with Dispatch & State Radio.
Shoot me now...Please....
Hated the movie, the soundtrack and the fact that it is still around 40+ years later.

I'm not certain what your complaint is. I assume the song crafted was personal, that it was played to  the best of their abilities, and engineered well. I think it deserves at least a 7.

it's ok, your secret's safe with us...

This is great! But I have to admit it makes me want to hear the energy of the original.
imagine a mushroom fueled live version of this.....whoa....

I just can not grasp this one. The original song was never a favourite.
The best cover of an awful song ever! Love love love his take on it!
Ha ha....this one made me stop and wonder what exactly I was listening to.  (I was 11 years old when this movie was released & still have most of the soundtrack memorized).  This is one of the reasons why I love Radio Paradise.  You never know what you may hear.
Interesting take on a cheesey classic
