Where's Lassie?
I've seen Joshua play a few times with the Philadelphia Orchestra.  He is really amazing, its like he slips into another plane while playing...the Jimi Hendrix of Concerto Violinists!
That time Joshua Bell went busking in a subway station:

"Sounds somehow Japanese to me ..."

It is Chinese - written in 1959 as an adaptation of an ancient legend for a western orchestra  by He Zhanhao and Chen Gang.  Nice!
Sounds somehow Japanese to me ...
LOVE it!
What a treat - thank you William.  I love it when world-class musicians in one field collaborate outside their comfort zone, even though the results can be  ... ahem  ... variable (I'm looking at Elvis Costello's flawed collaboration with Anne Sofie von Otter).
It ain't every artist's info telling you what their precise instrument being played is.
interesting:

Bell is one of the greats on the violin. Hoping to see him play Mendelssohn's E minor concerto this fall. Had tickets for Beethoven's concerto but then Covid hit. This is a nice tune. He is such a precise player.
