It might be true
It might be easier for me, if not, for you
I might be free
To live a life of some prolonged tranquillity

Alone with my thoughts
My mind can do its wandering
A bed to die in

Did you really want
To live a life every day like the last?
To make a trade
Of future promise for a hopeless past

Forget what you know
Afraid of what you want the most
A living ghost

Every day like the last
Every day like the last
Every day like the last
Every day like the last

"Every day like the last"? That is my dog's dream.
It's amazing, how powerful this mellow song is! Reminds me of Joni Mitchell's "Passion Play"...and that's a really good thing!
Just a beautiful tune.
As with everything I've heard by them, I adore it! I am continually astounded by this fantastic group...Bravo!
Very, very good.
Really fell in love with Wye Oak over the last 18 months. They were always a band on my radar, but I never really paid too much attentinon. Spent some time critically listening to Civilian and Shriek and man… just incredible. Loving this new one.
So cool to hear this newly released music. It has a fresh clean sound that still pays tribute to the musical heritage from whence it came. Sweet and melodic vocals. Also love the description of this group in the Wikipedia posting. Descriptions of the genres of musical groups are so complex and detailed these days. When I first started listening to music fifty years ago there were likely less than ten genres ranging from country to classical to soul to rock n roll. Now it seems that every new group has their own genre.
yep got me…
These folk have snared me in.  Thanks Radio Paradise
New, recent, good!
I like that there's newly released music here. Indeed, good music is still being made!
See? There's still great music being made! Love this!
love their harmonies
Nice - Wye Oak is great
A nice tune, never heard of them. Starts with a 7 for me.
