Tomorrow’s down the line
My hands sit by the sea
My mind can’t make it move
Nothing touches me

Morning’s out of reach
From the frozen sleep
I wanna be a child
Nothing touches me

I know it’s been so long
Too long to say a while
You must think I lost my
I think you’re probably right
I ride the evening sun
And pour the wine dark sky
The earth is blood and rough
Swims into the tide
If I could think of the wind of days
And figure a clever week
I’d tie it to my soul
Nothing touches me

I cannot say so long
It’s just hung up too dry
I eat my hours up
Too heavy to fly

Tomorrow’s down the line
My hands sit by the sea
My mind can’t make it move
Nothing touches me

I like it. He almost has a little early Willie Nelson twang to his vocals. I had never heard of him. Thanks AGAIN RP for new things to my ears. I have such an everyday expanding like of different new music thanks to this amazing vessel!
something very sad about the music and the lyrics don't contradict this...
Loving all the new music, Bill and loving this track!
I thought this was Roy Orbison. Had to check.
Kacey Johansing on backing vocals.  I came across her album from last year, Year Way, which I enjoyed.  Would be cool to see a song or two from her added to the rotation.

I worry about you.  No, not being snide.
Nice. Reminds me of lots of other songs, the specifics of which aren't important right now.
This is as if from another time... But not any in particular that has actually existed.
