And I'm done bein' in trial, right now I'm inspired
(Welcome to the revelation)
I was one under water and now I'm on fire
(Welcome to the revelation)
And I feel in the air that Mother Earth ain't steady
Feel so alive even though times are deadly

And in my soul (Get ready)
Somethin' is starin' now (Get ready)
But I'm not worried (Get ready)
You better get ready to scream now

Good people been down for so long
And now it's like the sun is risin'
Good people been down for so long
And now I see the sun is risin'

Long wears the night but you know we've been dreamin'
(Welcome to the revelation)
The city's gettin' loud 'cause the mountains are screamin'
(Welcome to the revelation)
When you've been through it all and it won't get no worst
And the first shall be lost and the last shall be first

And in my soul (Get ready)
Somethin' is starin' now (Get ready)
But I'm not worried (Get ready)
You better get ready to see now

Good people been down for so long
And now it's like the sun is risin'
Good people been down for so long
And now I see the sun is risin'

Welcome to the revelation (Welcome to the revelation)
Welcome to the revelation (Welcome to the revelation)

The sun is (The sun is) risin' (Risin')
It's comin', it's on it's way
So nothing (Nothing) tonight is (Tonight is)
Gettin' in the way
The sun is (The sun is) risin' (Risin')
It's comin', it's on it's way
So nothing (Nothing) tonight is (Tonight is)
Gettin' in the way

Wasn't one Adele enough?
Bill, I'll pay good money if you add a filter where listeners can identify songs they never ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever want to hear.

Off to the PSD button.
I did not think this band made anything this upbeat. I gave it an 8, but it might go higher next time around.
I love Mumford and Sons. I am enjoying this new flavor as well! It's great to hear groups diversify their sound and expand out of the box.
Quite a march, there. Double time. Git it
Overplayed.
I dunno folks, this kind of slaps!
This is somebody else's jam.
if you like MnS, you probably won’t like this. I don’t. But if you never liked them, you may like this. I really can’t listen to it. Miss the old style

That's what I heard.
Ah, the wonderful Mrs Mumford..
(Just to go off piste for a moment!)

Could be that the song features Pharell Williams singing? I love a good call and response. And they're welcoming us, too. How courteous. An 8 for you out of the gate, M&S&PW.

NONE of it sounds like them. Not just because of Pharrel

You are not wrong - I thought the same thing. But this is pretty dang cool.
c.

Well this is a surprise!  I like!
Mumford & Sons, rollin' in the deep.
This makes me want to look up more of Pharrell Williams, who I'd previously written off as yet another dance/pop act. But this rocks.

Maybe. But the melody and music doesn't sound like the M&S I am familiar with.

So maybe this is more about the Sons, and less about the Mumford.
Bill says yes, it is Pharell Williams singing with the guys so that's all we need to know.
It got my attention -- made me look at who it was.  It might be the first M&Sons song to make me want more.
