It's been a month of Sundays since I could fake a smile
Trying to lose my lonely in self-imposed exile
Trying to stay friendly but feeling so hostile
It's like I'm cold to the touch, mortuary style

If I could have one more kiss
You know the one you miss

I'm nothing but lonely
Waiting and wanting
Wanting and waiting for you
Ooh, it's true

Now I'm blind with no tomorrow in my eyes
Said, the harsh sting of sorrow is one I recognize
The truth of the matter is just one you can't disguise
I've been so lost on my own since the day you said goodbye

I know we don't stand a chance
But gimme, gimme this last dance

I'm nothing but lonely
Waiting and wanting
Said, I'm wanting and waiting for you
All right

I'm nothing but lonely
Waiting and wanting
Love, I'm wanting and waiting for you
Oh, I'm nothing but lonely
Waiting and wanting
'Cause I'm wanting and waiting for you

Blood, blood, my blood's on fire
Blood, blood, my blood's on fire
Blood, blood, my blood's on fire
Blood, blood, that's why I'm waiting, I'm wanting

Too freakin' long!

hmmmm. doesn't feel the same.

Nice to see the band releasing new music.  On first listen, kinda resembles a Jealous Again 2.0 in some ways.

Jealous Again Again
Got to love the "sproingy" part of the guitar riff , you know the bit...,it lasts approximately half the song.
No wonder I never heard this. Its new. They still sound great
Hope they come to Switzerland!
What a powerful song! Lots of fun jamming and the kind of soulful ROCK that they won me with back in the early 90s... And hey, be sure to also check out "Cross Your Fingers" from this great new album. Starts out slow, then rips the top right off with wild, crunchy guitar, heart-rending lyrics, and passionate vocals.
Jealous Again again?
Still, it's great hearing some new music from these guys.
NEW CROWES!  YeeHaw!

[edit, three mins later: Dude sounds really desperate.  Probably a bad idea to hook up, especially for one night.]

Rockin tune, but is this the only song on the album? I seem to hear it almost every day...

Missed these guys. 7
It's good but it sounds like bits of 5 Black Crowes tunes. Can't name any of them, but I hear it in the melody.  At least they are consistent!

Love does strange things to a person, now personally I .....
Sounds like Wicked Lester.
SASSY, bad-assed, and catchy! I'm loving this more and more each listen...  A fine return to Rock 'n' Roll form!

Not bad... nothing to special ?

We were astoundingly lucky to get 2 free tickets to the Black Crowes' iHeart radio album announcement session, broadcast live from Burbank, CA on February 6, 2024.  Awesome and MORE AWESOME.

Besides this song -- the only one from the upcoming album, Happiness Bastards, that's been released to date -- they played the album's opening track, Bedside Manner(? something like that).

Mixed in were several of their other songs and a couple short interviews.  Great to see the brothers getting along and making music!  (Don't forget to check out their EP 1972 from a couple years back, with covers of six classic songs from that year.)

SO looking forward to the release of the album in march!!!

We got tix for Wind Creek (near Bethlehem Steel) as well - for this spring! - looking foward

I think there may be a few ways, if we get into the supernatural.  In the real world all it takes is being on chemotherapy.

(One might also ask how can a volcano have snow on it?)
