Huh? Every time you hear Van Morrison, you are reminded of your desire to be picked up in a bar by a woman who reminds you of your mother? Sounds like a problem that could require years of therapy. Keep on trying, someday you will find one drunk enough to pick you.

Agreed... If this version had a bit more bass to it.. maybe depth would be a better word.. it just seems that acoustically it doesn't sound as good as it could.. As for the band introductions in the song.. I figure this may have been an opener or closer in his set.. so you introduce the performers, or you're leaving so you want people to know who's been providing the groove throughout the night... in that context I'm sure no one can complain...

Van Morrison is the man. A voice that brings warmth. A truly soulful voice. I always enjoy hearing his songs. Keep it up RP !
Always nice to hear a little Van. Doesn't matter what song he sings, it brings instant cheer! And there are so many of his I still haven't heard before...like this one.
