It was a real surprise to find so many negative comments on this song. Lyrics are subtle and delivered with a sensitive heartfelt delivery. My guess is that many are just missing what's there in this song. For a taste of repetitive ear crap, listen to St. Germain - Rose Rouge for as long as you can stand it.

What we seem to be forgetting is that this is internet radio & the songs that are playing on your local FM radio might not be the songs someone in Finland or South Africa is hearing all the time. Bill, I say, play it when ever you want. Having said that, this song doesn\'t really impress me as a piece of musical genius. It\'s decent.

Why is it that every male vocal tries to imitate Dave Matthews (who I can't stand)/Eddie Vedder (who I don't like, but at least has some chops and was original)? It's a lousy pretentious vocal quality. I have an idea: how about singing with your own natural voice?
Good grief I wanted to make a comment but you said it all . . . I brag to people about how RP doesn't play mediocre, dime a dozen crap, and then I see Staind on the playlist and my heart sinks. This song was played to death on corporate radio and it sounds like every other band out there being played to death. Creed, Puddle of Mud, Nickelback, Fuel . . . I really do tune into RP to avoid this very typical sound . . . I also would love to hear a rock band use their natural voice instead of sounding like their nose is clothespinned (stained) or their jaw is wired shut (creed) . . . Ok sorry I'll stop ranting now. I really do love RP . . . just could do without Stained.
I can\'t say how diappointed I am to hear this song on RP. I realize \"eclectic\" ecompasses a lot of different styles. But, this song conforms to that exact corporate rock station formula that I listen to RP to get away from.
After about 2 months of cooling off, I don\'t hate this song as much as I used to. I\'m raising my rating to a 2.

I disagree. As much as I dislike this song, I'd prefer to leave the edited junk for commercial radio. That's one of the reasons I come here.
A great song... Great words... And it\'s *overplayed*

So what's this truly new musical sound coming from Staind... or any other band today. Mediocrity for the masses still rules. Time for a revolution!!!
Affected crap, IMO.
I actually think this is a great song. Does anyone think there is some influence by Sting? Sounds like something he could have done once, a long time ago. I think the band\'s immaturity almost ruins the effort. I own the CD and have listened to all of it. They have potential. Who knows?
A lot of the comments seem related to commercial radio over playing of this tune. Since I rarely listen to commercial radio anymore, it doesn\'t bother me in that way. I like it on it\'s own merit. A little repetitive, but not annoyingly so IMHO.
Ok Folks, nothing to see here... Just step away from this song please....just step away...
...Not very interesting musically or lyrically. Run of the mill...
20 lashes for RP for playing this crap, save it for MTV and all those Top 40 stations, where it belongs, and will soon be forgotten
This is the first song I have heard on RP that I have adamently negative feelings for. It\'s pointless, repetitive, and just plain annoying. Add to that, it has been beaten to death by mainstream radio.
It\'s been awhile, but it hasn\'t been long enough. Go away, Staind.
Actually, it\'s been a while since I\'ve heard this. (I don\'t listen to much commercial radio, but it\'s probably not in heavy rotation there any more, is it?) I like this song, think it\'s got a good beat. It may not be one of my all time favorites, but I think in the interest of diversity, it\'s well worth keeping in the mix. :)
It\'s been awhile ... it\'s been awhile ... it\'s been awhile. This song is so repetitious it\'s overplayed after one hearing. One thing me and my 12 yr old and his commercial radio listening friends can agree on. If even Bill G can\'t find anything else worth listening to from this band, maybe it\'s just not worth listening to.
