If you could see the lover in me
And we can join our hands together
You could see how good it could be
We'll sing these stupid songs forever

Can you feel it?
Love is here
It has never been so clear
You can't love what you have not
So hold on to what you've got

Is Trudy really smiling for me?
I'd change my name in case she found me
Trembling I can't believe
I've got to leave the girl behind me

Can you feel it
Love is here
It has never been so clear
You can't love what you have not
So hold on to what you've got

If you could see the aching in me
I'd change my name in case you lost me
Trembling down to my knees
I've got to leave the world behind me

Can you feel it
Love is here
It has never been so clear
You can't love what you have not
So hold on to what you've got

Sounds like it could be from late 60\'s or early 70\'s. I was surprised to see this is a contemporary band. Not saying that\'s good or bad; just an observation.
Horrible. Excruciatingly painful. Blech.
Is this guy formerly from SuperTramp, kinda sounds like him. Where are they now oh VH1?
Pretty cool song, I think, despite the other messages I just read here. :p
Heh. I jumped on the site to give this a 2 (I don\'t want to hurt anyone\'s feelings) and lo and behold, sometime in the distant past, I already gave it a 2. So at least I\'m consistent. \"Starsailor\". Just the name of the band makes me cringe.

Couldn't have put it better myself. Starsailor are not as good as say Kula Shaker, Coldplay or even Supergrass, but their work is mostly interesting. Keep it comming Bill....
Great song and a great album. I particularly enjoy Fever. Great driving song. This album is in constant rotation along with Coldplay, the doves and has anyone heard Vast. They have some great songs too. Keep the Starsailor coming, play \"fever\".
Whiny, grating, uninspiring, unimaginative, numbing. But whininy, droning voices are my pet peeve (with the exception of Neil Young)(and my own :D )

Sigur Ros meets Jeff Buckley?? I\'m liking this... but I\'ve liked Starsailor since this album\'s been released and saw them on Leno and some other show. Really nice performances...

This is a guy singing?! Ugh. I thought it was some woman impersonating Patty Smith :(
This selection becomes better with each listening. A historic moment, I actually agree with Murray 248 in a rare point of agreement between the pretentious and the puerile.

so much for putting any emotion into music, but then again, that's not the popular thing to do these days is it? just serve it up and dish it out, that's all music is these days. glad to see a band that puts true feelings into their music. keep the starsailor coming, i love it!

Same here, and am glad I did (RP is batting .1000 with me on CD purchases!). Especially like this song -- the same aching despair as "Love Hurts" and "One" ......
