So I always get nostalgic with that song
But in my room it's forced
It has to be in some car across the street
And I always catch the back of your head in a crowd
Just don't turn around
It's never you and you ruin those memories
And those photos are great if I catch them with the side of my eye
But if I stare, it just turns into you and me
We're just standing there

And now its over
Would you hear me
Scream at the top of my lungs
And when you go there
Would you hear me
Scream at the top of my lungs

So I always fool my friends and we head down there
You think that we are en route
We just drove past your old house and you weren't there
And I'm always great when I'm hanging with your buds and they lie
They think that I'm just fine
Its always been that way, just a pocketbook Brando

And when you hold him
Would you hear me
Scream at the top of my lungs
You love my whisper
But did you hear me
Scream at the top of my lungs

So you crank that song
And it might sound doom
So just leave the room
While I sit and stare
Cause this is rare
I really love that tune
Man, I love that song
I really love that song
I love that song

So when you go there
Would you hear me
Scream at the top of my lungs
And when you're hated
Would you hear me
Scream at the top of my lungs

So you crank that song
And it might sound doom
So just leave the room
While I sit and stare
Cause yeah, that's rare
I really love that tune
Man, I love that song
I love that song
I love that song

Where TF has this song been?!?! First time I've ever heard this. A bit crunchy hard for RP but that's fine Starting at 8.
Still one of the BEST 90's Songs - such a great song with Hooks all over it. If you don't like this song - you don't like music.
awesome song from the 90s
Sounds like foo fighters
"I always get nostalgic when I hear this song" - I'm screaming at the top of my lungs how I love this song!!!!!!!

This band has something many more progressive rock bands do not strive for- great melody. Very clever and wonderful songwriting with interesting arrangements and talented musicians all the way around. Many of the songs sound much simpler than they really are. I'll always be baffled by how mass market radio missed this band. Then again, they seem to prefer people who can't really sing. (this is a sweeping generalisation to course...)

I do like this very much, but this song is not prog at all. I'll venture to listen to more Big Wreck. For progressive rock, I suggest putting on some Emerson, Lake, and Palmer, or Yes, or even Genesis or Pink Floyd or Rush. (can you tell that I'm old?)
Nice to hear this one again, years after it being overplayed when first released. It does stand up as a good one.
Great tune dude, never heard this song or band but I am rocking out!
Excellent to hear Big Wreck here! Great Band check out "Blown Wide Open" another great song off the same album!
suitably named band....
Can't get into this one...sorry. Too heavy for me.
Thanks for playing this, Bill. I'd not heard it before, but I like it. (Even though I'm generally not a big fan of this style of rock, there are exceptions, and this is one of them.) Nice hearing some guitar playing with some ballz on it.
Please please PLEASE play this song, Bill :-) It's one of my all-time favorite songs EVER! I even did a performance piece based on the lyrics when I was still at VCU

So \"That Song\" is \"that song\", one I\'ve heard more than once, and always liked , in fact once I recall loitering near a radio waiting for the end of a set, not quite remembering whether the station was one that consistently went back and told you what you were listening to. Got a shattering teen demographic commercial instead, of course. I\'ll rate \"That Song\" a 6 or 7, but Radio Paradise as always gets a 10 in the Felicitous Discovery Facilitator Dept. And I\'ll be checking out Big Wreck. Had been listening to a lot of the late lamented Soma FM Groove Salad but the whole set thats been playing while I hunt and peck this out(Nik Kershaw, Natalie Merchant) has been so excellent that I wonder if I hadn\'t been getting a bit to Ambient any how. Long Live Radio Paradise.
It probably sounds OK live.
Guess I\'m swimming upstream on this one. Me like.

Pretty boring verse, but the riff in the middle was really rocking!
