love, I think, I see, you are there again,
that place, you go when everything on you depends,
you hold your ground, 'cause we will find a way
to live it all and still have fun

'cause it's too much thinking
it's too much worrying
rest your head aside me now
it's too much thinking upon your shoulders
rest your worried soul upon me now

love before you sleep, let your mind believe
that we can cope with all life hands us
and breathe in deep the strength you need
to fill you up and calm your mind just like i keep telling you

it's too much thinking
it's too much worrying
rest your head aside me now
it's too much thinking upon your shoulders
rest your worried soul upon me now

we have it all
i can't believe we made it this far
but we did
we have so much to be this thankful for
and so relax, take heart, ease your mind

'cause it's too much thinking
it's too much worrying
rest your head aside me now
it's too much thinking upon your shoulders
rest your worried soul upon me now.

This song blows!

i could go another 18 years without hearing this.
This seems to be a different version from the one I am used to hearing.
I like Rusted Root, but I don't like this song much...

My experience exactly. If I hadn't seen them live, I wouldn't know any better... makes it all the more difficult to enjoy the recording.
Love this song! Woohoo! Hah!

Rusted Root, out of context, would draw these type of comments. Certain criteria need to lead up to any listen including, liking the flute, being high and listening to an entire album or show. Definitely better live. More Donna the Buffalo please.
This is not worthy.

a nice segue into POi dog pondering after this would be nice. :)
YES! that would be perfect!
I have to say, this sounds like any random "island/world"ish band playing at any tropical themed bar down here (Miami, FL) on any given day. The type of crap tourists eat up, then consider themselves "cultured" and "down with the locals" after hearing. (You know - the ones that spend a week in a walled resort in Rio, then tell everyone they've been to Brazil.) Then they go buy flowered shirts "'cause that's what they all wear down there". Really generic. Way to go. I never did quite get what the whole hype about these folks was a few years ago. You get a 3 and a sunburn.
Cool RR tune! Always nice to hear more of Jen and Liz singing. Listen closely - lots of little variations and embellishments in the arrangement keep it from being too simple, even though it's a song about simplifying things.

What's a "Heppie"? peace/earth lover with hepatitis? Beat poet jazz hippie (hep cat + hippie= heppie) Hollow Extravagant Professional?

Mine too.
HATE Rusted Root. Lame, worn out, 60's sound.
Nice. Sounds a lot like a Sara Hickman tune, which is a good thing.
Who\'d a thunk it--- a tolerable RR song!

ROCKS! Valuable words, groovy tune!
TOO MUCH playing of this song! Maybe I\'v been hearing it a lot on local radio lately too, but it seems like every time I\'ve turned on RP lately this (IMNSHO) marginal song is on.

Pretty good. The whistle is a little too piercing for me, though.
Tappin\' my feet and bobbin\' my head.. Ya know, it\'s weird.. I thought this might have been a Corrs tune at first! Then I found out it\'s Rusted Root. It kicks major bumski. Another CD I\'ve got to put on my \"to buy\" list!

This is Rusted Root? I can understand the lyrics - couldn\'t be them! :) Really, though. I enjoyed this cute little tune.

They ARE talented. I've seen them in concert about 5 times and they always give a high-energy phenomenal show. The percussion is amazing
