I can understand the negative comments, but you should listen to the BV3K CD "Discosis" that this really came from. Yes, it has a lot of cheapish rap-scratch-crap, but it really is a VERY interesting and good mix of many completely different styles. The mixing makes it a lot more interesting. AND it's got Youssou N'Dour on it. :) E.g. "Astounded" is a pretty decent remix of "Move on up" by Curtis Mayfield, that suddenly turns into a salsa (!) song, and somehow this madness just WORKS. It sent me straight to the CD store to buy Curtis, and then Astounded, in that order. ;) I'm now looking into salsa, but that's not really related... My favourite is that song (track 15 I think) that manages to combine middle-eastern "mullah"-vocals with hardrock guitars ands classical strings, and the combination just WORKS. Really!. "Go shopping" by itself does not do that album justice, believe me.
Oh no, come on... - don\'t play such a silly band like Bran Van 3000 here, please... They had one nice song, but the rest seems to be completely silly or borrowed from other bands like 4 Hero etc... Well, I think the rating here speaks for itself ;)...
Aw... come on folks... this is quite amusing!
