Anybody else find the sound of fingers sliding up and down the strings of a guitar annoying?!?
i actually like that sound! it strikes me as very human & very organic. i enjoy it. :)
It's always a pleasure to hear Stina Nordenstam on radio.I discovered her with "Little star" 10 years ago more or less and now I have all her albums. Barcelona,Spain

This song is okay.. but I'd like to hear more "Little Star" as I believe that's the best song she's ever done.
I totally agree....her voice is so unique with a haunting quality.

This is a fascinating track instrumentally, but I reallllly dislike her voice.
Interesting, just hearing this for the first time...good sets going on tonight.

Sounds like The Cranes. That's a good thing.
I was SURE those chords at the end were actually the opening to Good Day Sunshine. What a segue! Only it wasn't; they were really just the closing chords to Dynamite. Coincidence? I don't think so!
Nice to have Stina back on the playlist.

Girls have falsetto?
yep. everyone does. it's a one of the three main vocal modes of our larynx.

I'd have to say this is the first time I've heard her - intriguing, but I'd have to hear more to see if the unique approach of this song is echoed elsewhere in her music, or is a lucky hit. Her voice is definitely on the thin, reedy side, but I can take that if the music and lyrics lend themselves to it. On this song it does - but on her other stuff does it? I can see where it might get grating if she is one-dimensional. In other words, is she Bjork (good), or Emiliana Torrini (not bad, but not as good)? - Riff
What a nice little gem, thanks RP for introducing new acquaintances for the lazy music industry followers
WOW!! Never heard of her before... but I'm digging this song. :D

This song was perfect following Neko Case's Deep Red Bells, which was preceded by Nickel Creek's Reasons Why
Hrm - looks like Bill liked that sequence quite a bit...same order today: Nickel Creek - Reasons Why Neko Case - Deep Red Bells Stina Nordenstam - Dynamite Dynamite has a cool feel to it, but Stina's voice eventually starts to grate on me. It makes me want to tell her to open up her mouth and sing out every once in a while.

Man, do I ever dislike all of Stina Nordenstam's songs I've heard on here...
You know, I kind of like her and her style...but if her voice goes any higher there may be a revolution of every dog in hearing distance and I'll have to replace every glass thing I own.
Her voice sounds really familiar. Has she worked with any other people / groups?
