It's... not my cup of tea, there's something generic about it. It sounds overproduced to me, like they were "going for a sound"...

This song was cool the first 10,000,000 times I heard it. All I can say is "No!!! Bad Radioparadise!!!! Bad Bill!! Bad Rebecca!!" I listen to this station to get away from over played songs like this :verymad: It really is an ok song but, Jesus, how many times do I have to hear it? P.S. I love you guys

It's pure throwback hairband-style cheese, but it'll be tasty for awhile till it spoils.

the voice is nice. the background music is okay. the lyrics... well.. not my favorite. i dunno who called it "goth" - but it isn't. heh. it's pop-ish to me. don't get me wrong - i like it. it's neat. but it doesn't speak to me. heh.

I know when this song was released on the radio, it was like a stampede all at once. Over and over and over. However, I loved the song then, and love it still. As overplayed as it was on the radio, I never got sick of it. It's just one of those songs that brings me there. Love it. +++ Shane

I'm not sure what it is, but this band has a "cranberries" like effect on me... i.e.: when i hear them I want to run, screaming... I can't put my finger on it - i think it's that they are hyped as "goth" (whatever the heck that means anymore), but it sure doesn't sound at all like the "goth" music I know during my youth in the 80's...now there was some real batcave ghoul-y stuff! anyway, nope, i can't get with this band's sound...

As much as I like to make fun of this as Lance Bass meets Limp Bizcuit, I secretly like this song, at least this time I heard it. There's more 'meat' in her voice than I thought.

I'm all for a heavier set every now and then, but this does nothing for me. Like others, I agree she has a decent voice. Musically, I find myself left wanting. I think Porcupine Tree said it best

I gotta hand it to Bill. Excellent work. This set started a long time ago - remember the Nick Drake, Richie Havens, George Harrison and those others cools songs we are only hearing on RP. It all ties together with a nice of continuity of the words and meanings of the lyrics while gradually building music intensity (the Pumpkins sounded great) to something crunchy that the "youths" of today are using as their entree/entry into the broader potential of Rock music - past present and future. If they become open to that, they then often explore further to find out about jazz, blues, classical and - yes - world and electronic music. That would be a good thing. To paraphrise a childhood friend: "It's not such a bad song Charlie Brown. And that's what music is all about"

yeah. this one belongs on my local craprock radio station. i'm sure it's all the rage with the teen angst set... seriously though - musically, there is nothing even remotely interesting going on in this song (or in any of their others that I have heard so far), aside from her voice at times. reminds me of a female-fronted Godsmack, Disturbed, Creed, or any of a million other generic "rock" bands out there these days. almost makes you wish that the boybands would make a comeback again.

I cant argue that she has a competent voice. But every song i hear from her it's just loud, upfront and holding long notes

What did we do to deserve this punishment?

Not my favorite song by them, but her voice blows me away on anything she sings!
