wow, not very many comments. anybody seen coldplay live? i've been wanting to, but never had the chance. I've heard it's amazing.
i saw them live at Red Rocks from the front row. it was so great. i even made it onto their DVD! to be fair, i saw Radiohead from the 47th row two months after that and was utterly and completely blown away... 47-fold.

true. no harm in skipping it
I think there's a reason this only appears on the DVD and not the CD.

this is torture. why is such plodding mediocrity so popular? these guys give fresh meaning to the phrase "one-trick pony."
and very cruel to Chris Martin to have him follow Paul Simon. :-k

You must not have gotten the memo about this being eclectic

If only......
Forgettable.
the lyrics make it listenable Who wrote these lyrics? This band is doing a cover of it. Right?
This is probably an OK song, in the midst of other stuff from them. But taken out of context it does seem to just drag on. I like some other Coldplay stuff, and I may yet find that I like this one. But for now I'm less than impressed.
I hope this ends soon... It's hurting my ears.
i'm afraid martin isn't that great a singer, sounds much better and confident on studioalbum than live i reckon. it's still good though.
i adore this song. wish it were longer.
the only song on the album that i habitually skip over - and the album version is actually better than this live one, imho.

If anyone has an answer for bluedot, please copy me on the reply. I like a lot of Coldplay, but this sounds bloody awful!
this proves the point that orchestral backing can't save a mediocre song. fortunately, i've heard other coldplay trax that lead me to believe they aren't a complete waste of bandwidth.

Well its great. I don't know about amazing...its not up there with Radiohead, U2, The Who, Led Zep, REM or any band like that... But the reason why they are great is because they are a Newish band- and they are playing great music.
Life may be for living but this song is for dying.
I'm confused what's with the Dave Matthews comments here? I just can't get enough of Coldplay lately. Every song I hear by them I love.
Well, not a whole lot to say really ... "blech" would do ... but maybe that's too much. Really though, the song just doesn't do much but plod along. Everybody hold up your lighter and sway. *shrug* cynthos wrote:

hmm... Dave Matthews it getting better. But not that much better.
