Nice. I swear she sounds Belgian, but apparently, she's French (yes, there is a difference).
Hi! As a French listener, I can affirm this kind of sweety songs is not what we are used to listen to here ! Well, as I just read, this is a good song for a french course... for the beginners ! :o) No, brothers, be sure we are able to write real songs with real melodies and real musicians playing them (not just this kind of "for pupils song", nice nice nice nice music for muppets). Keep the faith !!!!!!!
"Mmmmmmmmm..........Liquor Parfait!.....................Aurghhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!"

The only decent French music these days comes from France (and there`s lots of it). The stuff from Quebec is all MTV-American Idol chaff. Used to be the other way around.
Unfortunately, I have to agree on this one. Well, if you look only at commercial radio. However, there are a couple of artists that deserve to be heard: Pierre Lapointe, Richard Desjardins, Susie Arioli & Jordan Officer, Tomàs Jensen. Of course you won't hear these ones on mainstream radios...

Actually, there's quite a bit of good French music coming out of Morocco. Check it out! You'll be glad you did!

I don't know... I think Quebec was the big generator of bad music from the 80's onward. Remember the MuchMusic Fromage awards.. coincidence? I think not. Remember "Bye,bye mon cowboy"? from that hot blonde chic?
i love this song. i usually don't like french music, because it sounds hokey, but this song is cool. it's one of those french songs that doesn't sound lame to my ears, much like thievery corporation and some of the stuff they do. heh.

It's nice to hear French sung in a beautiful, quiet voice.

Great song! Great example of the diversity of this station ... one would never hear this music anywhere else!
Ditto!
Bottom Line: Boring.
First post ... new listener, so bear with me. Great song! I saw these guys in concert with Okoume and Moist at L'Agora in Quebec City in July 1997. Excellent performance then and I have enjoyed their music ever since (especially this single). It's a mellow, yet peppy Franco-Pop tune. I could listen to this whole disk for hours at a time. Great example of the diversity of this station ... one would never hear this music anywhere else!
Excellent choice! I haven't heard this tune in at least five years -- thanks for reminding me how much I love this band!
The first thing i thought of was that "L'accord Parfait" is in reference to a french verb tense. In french, we have many verb forms, the determination of which is referred to as "L'accordes des verbes". One of the forms is called "parfait" (along with "imparfait", and "plus-que-parfait"). I'll have to pay more attention to the lyrics next time i hear it. :)
Yaaaaay! I found these guys on iTunes and loved their sound. Glad to see you're playing them. "Simon" is also a great song, and I'd love to see it in rotation.
I have no idea what is being said (I took Spanish in high school), but I love it. I agree that it floats along nicely. Lovely.

That's right. You had a pretty good high school French teacher. ;)
In fact it can also mean a music term like "perfect chord" but you're right, it also mean "perfect agreement"

mmmmm...parfait....
BG Thanks for this tune. Floats along nicely! I even stopped paying bills to rate this one...(wait is that a good thing or not?)
