I wish I could live free
I hope it's not beyond me
Settling down, it takes time
One day we'll live together
And life will be better
I have it here, yeah, in my mind
Baby, you know someday you'll slow
And baby, my heart's been breaking

I gave a lot to you
I take a lot from you, too
You slave a lot for me
Guess you could say I gave you my edge

I can't pretend
I need to defend
Some part of me from you
I know I've spent some time lying
I can't pretend
I don't need to defend
Some part of me from you
I know I've spent some time lying

How am I doing?

You're looking all right tonight
I think we should go
You're looking all right tonight
I think we should go

jing jing jing jing jing.....mumble mumble...jing jing jing jign.....repeat until your audience shoots itself in the head
The CIA can use this as an interrogation technique.

good point. i saw them open for the cure in dallas several years back. interpol was boring. and they copied many cure like riffs and it was something to see the compare / contrast at the same show. still bad, boring and empty..
Boring and drab, makes me want to curl up in fetal position in a corner and cry myself to sleep.

I was in, then 2 minutes into the song, I was out, way out. Now I'm regretting my "4"... I think I need to hear this again, but the "Chopsticks" guitar is getting on my nerves today.
Great cutting-edge stuff.
...learn another chord awful
Their new album got good reviews from Paste
Yay, more Interpol! Hope I get to see them perform at a non-festival show before they break-up again. I'm not saying they are going to, I'm just saying look at the track record.
