Like a book being read for the first time
I look around
At everything I'd always seen but it's
Different today
Cause I could be happy
Just being farmers
Just being farmers
With you with me
Far away
From the city lights and the constant rat race
We'll use our hands
To navigate a different fate where
Nothing's planned
Cause I could be happy
Just being farmers
Just being farmers
With you with me
We'll grow tomatoes
Talk about black holes and sulfur skies
Taking our time not to rush
As life takes a natural course
Cause I couldn't be happy
Just being farmers
Just being farmers
Away from it all
Away from it all
Away from it all
I could be happy just to be alive
With you with me always

Three cheers for new independent acoustic folkie tunes!
jeez what a cute innocent little image. {#Rolleyes}

Nice.  I'm a sucker for a cute young woman with a guitar (or a piano) who is even half talented.  Will keep an eye and an ear on Hayley. {#Devil_pimp}
I like the line about growing tomatoes.  Growing your own food rules.
I think her song is quite lovely... the lyrics are sweet and genuine.  I love her look below...

Aw.  Somebody got a banjo for Christmas...
This is not Slayer.
Yes, a bit of a snoozer.  Would be better live me thinks.

Don't like the way every syllable trails off, but the instrumentation is novel.  Kind of a snoozer a la Norah Jones.
