Hi.  I just wanted to mention that there's been some discussion of this on the Naim forum.

A tech-savvy user has pointed out that apparently Xiph updated the FLAC standard to facilitate 'normal' (ie as opposed to file-based) streaming earlier this year.  To quote his post, 'as of Jan this year there is a standardised way of streaming continuous FLAC using an optimised streaming container and URL'.

This appears to be how the minimstreamer folks implemented the (excellent) BBC trial someone mentioned.

I'd like to give a big thumbs up to the new FLAC stream you've set up. It sounds SO much better than the lossy streams. I've put the Andriod app on my Sony NW-ZX2 Walkman, and it sounds excellent. I've also been streaming it to a Naim streamer, with good results, although I'm not sure I've found the optimum way to do this yet.
Here in the UK, the BBC set up a trial FLAC stream of Radio 3, and the sound quality was exceptional - Minimserver set up a stream that could play it over UPnP to a streamer, and that was much better than using Airplay or Bluetooth. Something comparable to that for RP would be nice.
Thanks for a great service - now I really must make a donation, as I can see that I'll be making more use of RP in future.

Before arguing about hearing the difference to 320K, I precise my setup : I use a lossless Pi player / iQaudio Pi-DAC+, connected to a tube amp and excellent speakers.
