I can't see how the scammers can really be able to avoid arrest. Seems like this would leave a pretty clear trail to their door.

I certainly hope so. However, all of our information could be out there now for anyone to use at any time to try to open accounts in our name. I was able to place a credit freeze with two agencies online but I still have to call one to do it over the phone. Kind of a pain since I have to remove it and place it back on anytime I want to apply for anything, buy a car, buy a house, etc., but better safe than sorry, I suppose.

The company I work for fell victim to a phishing scam. Someone, I'm assuming in payroll, received an email from what looked like one of our top executives requesting the W2s of all US employees. So even though every single person in our company has been required to watch videos regarding security and scams exactly like this, the person EMAILED all of our W2s to this person. The company reported it to the IRS and FBI, gave us a year of LikeLock for free (BFD), and is reimbursing us the fees for placing credit freezes with all 3 reporting bureaus. Starting late last week, employees who have Turbo Tax accounts have been receiving emails from Turbo Tax stating someone has attempted to file a duplicate return in their name and they have 48 hours to respond as to whether it's valid. I have a Turbo Tax account but didn't use it to file my taxes this year so hopefully if someone creates a duplicate account using my info, Turbo Tax will contact me. I filed a couple weeks ago using H&R Block and the money was in my account last Friday so hopefully if anyone tries to file a duplicate return, the IRS will reject it; although, I've heard that they won't necessarily because they don't know which return is valid. This is beyond aggravating as this is something that could affect us for years to come. Someone out there has my address, SSN, place of employment, and all my income information from 2015. I hope this person no longer has a job and understands the ramifications of his or her actions. This has caused a major imposition on all of us and is a frightening situation. I can't even begin to express how flabbergasted and angry I am about this!

One of the local cat rescues that works with Petsmart - The Bella Foundation. They split up obviously bonded pairs of mature cats all the time - many of them siblings.

Ebay's red tape having PayPal process even orders that you do with a credit card (and NOT through PayPal), so that when you check out there's an error saying email/card linked to another account and then being passed off from CS to PayPal CS and back and NO ONE knowing why there was an error and finally figuring out that when they say PayPal payment isn't mandated  — it kind of is. It finally worked when I selected to pay using PayPal, and adding the credit card to my Paypal account.

Meanwhile, 2 hours later.....I should've been at the gym working out by now.

That's just it - my sister suspected that gas was what made her extra tired that day, and kind of out of it. It's a symptom of prolonged exposure. Mom was having a great time Saturday night with the girls (in the great room) and is usually way more energetic. That's what made my sister think the two were related. We'll see.

Great. That place might be the death of her after all...and due to negligence. I sincerely hope my brother makes sure all is well there tomorrow.
