Art and music are guarantees of Sanity. Touring should end when the ol skin suit wears out. But not the spirit. The knowledge, the collaborating, the learning goes on.

Just ask Sir Paul.

Bauhaus’ Peter Murphy Ejected From His Own Concert: Report

Another article reported the behaviour was due to a small part of the audience not (sufficiently) paying attention to the act, which led Murphy to throw a beer bottle which ended up on the mixing board, breaking it.

I'll never retire! You'll have to pry my paint brushes from my cold dead hands you damn kids.

And get off my lawn while you're at it. {#Arghhh}

We saw them at Wolf Trap in Vienna, VA last month....Davey, Mickey, and Peter put on a great show and were a lot of fun. Brought back some wonderful memories.

I saw Led Zep during their tour for # III at the old Spectrum in Philly and Page came out and promptly sat down on a chair on the left side of the stage.  We were all WTF is this ?  He didn't get up at all during the first half of the show.  Makes sense now, forty two years later.  He did  get up and was a little more animated in the second half when they did stuff from the first two albums.

To be clear, I don't think that artists should just retire at a certain age, that was just the name of this old thread I picked up. I just think that PS's new stuff is crap, that is all I was saying.

I would agree that retirement is an extreme for some artistes maybe a more graceful transition into producing, editing is more appropriate for musical artists?
