In the late 70s I did nightshifts alone in a boilerhouse with only an old valve radio for company which had only 1 non classical music station and I remember desperate nights of being subjected to the likes of Leo sayer billy Joel the "new"Fleetwood Mac etc etc. Then a couple of years later a miracle. A DJ that scored lots of great new stuff from the UK and played it between midnight and 5am. The likes of The Fall. Magazine. Gang of four. Killing joke. Mekons. Psychedelic furs and others. Saved my bloody life. A few years ago I managed to contact that maverick and very popular DJ Barry Jenkin. He had been out of the industry a long time but I was stunned when he told me he didn't listen to music at all anymore !!! I told him about RP and to listen in. He told me someone else had suggested it too. So let's hope RP got him listening again eh.

Still a great band!! But, quite a different sound from their early stuff! Still give them mad props, for hanging in there for so long!
Love Fleetwood's bass.

Thought this was Tragically Hip until I looked on the RP playlist. Didn't realize Fleetwood Mac could have been such a good jam band.
Hmmmnnn, don't really care for this one — sounds too much like the Rolling Stones to me.
This was fantastic and turned my head in 1970 and it is fantastic now - thanks Bill.

Try the Amazon CD button on the song page. It´s only seven and a half bucks, and Radio Paradise gets a bit of that as a kickback for putting up the link. I picked up the CD like that. It's great music, especially for the road.

A listenable tune, though, \"Mystery to Me\" is my fave. Any Fleetwood Mac before the invasion of the bottle snatcher (Stevie Nicks) is just fine. \"Rumors\" is the most over-played, over-hyped album of its time.
Hey, don\'t feel too bad. This is the first time I heard this song and I also thought it was the Stones.
Oh my, I just realized that my whole life (which is becoming more considerable amount each year) I thought this was a Rolling Stones song.

this album started, what i think, is the most interesting period of fleetwood mac. most assurdly, the most under- played and underrated era of their music. starting with \"kiln house\" in \'70, \"future games in \'71, \"bare trees\" in \'72, \"penguin\"& \"mystery to me\" in \'73 and heroes are hard to find in \'74, there is alot of really great music that never gets heard. thanks bill for chipping away at that big piece of music that never gets played.
I gotta say... this is the first Fleetwood Mac tune I\'ve heard in years that didn\'t have me reaching for the dial to flee to another station (or the mouse to flee to another web broadcast in this case ;) ) not entirely unlikeable.

Mystery to Me is also killah. Got that brand new, with two of three other new albums in college in a barter arrangement. Dexter Dingo, if you're out there, I still appreciate those albums!
