I close my eyes when I get too sad
I think thoughts that I know are bad
Close my eyes and I count to ten
Hope it's over when I open them

I want the things that I had before
Like a Star Wars poster on my bedroom door
I wish I could count to ten
And make everything be wonderful again

I hope my mom and I hope my dad
Will figure out why they get so mad
I hear them scream, I hear them fight
They say bad words that makes me want to cry

Close my eyes when I go to bed and I
Dream of angels who make me smile
I feel better when I hear them say that
Everything will be wonderful some day

Promises mean everything
When you're little and the world is so big
I just don't understand how
You can smile with all those tears in your eyes
When you tell me everything is wonderful now

Please don't tell me everthing is wonderful now

I go to school and I run and play
I tell the kids that it's all ok
I laugh alot so my friends won't know
When the bell rings I just don't want to go home

Go to my room and I close my eyes
I make believe that I have a new life
I don't believe you when you say that
Everything will be wonderful some day

Promises mean everything
When you're little and the world is so big (so big)
I just don't understand how
You can smile with all those tears in your eyes
When you tell me everything is wonderful now

No, no
I don't want to hear you tell me
Everything is wonderful now
No, no
I don't want to hear you tell me
Everything is wonderful now
I don't want to hear you say
That I will understand some day
No, no, no, no
I don't want to hear you say
That you both have grown in a different way
No, no, no
No I don't want to meet your friend
I don't want to start over again
I just want my life to be the same
Just like it used to be
Somedays, I hate everything
I hate everything
Everyone and everything

Please don't tell me everything is wonderful now

No
Please I don't want to hear you tell me
everything is wonderful now

No
Please don't tell me everything is wonderful now
Everything is wonderful now

I don't wanna hear you tell me
I don't wanna hear you tell me
Everything is wonderful now
Please don't tell me everything is wonderful now
Yeah, yeah everything is wonderful now
Oh yeah, everything is wonderful now

Wow....I did not know this was in the RP library at any point....only looked it up b/c "Santa Monica" is being played now and I thought "the only Everclear song I really like is this one" and the reason I like it is it reminds me of breaking up with my troublesome GF back in the day.  I can feel about 5 different emotions at once listening to this....Wow...

LONG LIVE RP!!

These songs just played again in the same order - "Ghost of the Gang" followed by "Wonderful."

This takes me back to my childhood. Sadly :(
Such a huge drop from Fire Maple Song...can't believe this is the same band.
Why not just play the Jonas Brothers? Ack!
Man, tough crowd — I like it.  Just because it's not my favorite band or song, I do like the variety.
Nice to hear. Not the best song...but then again what example is there? Kinda like Everclear.
Um?

Average song from a below average band.

Everclear used to be one of my fav bands till they started appealing to the Lite FM stations out there.

Go back to your roots- rock my face off with stuff like Heroin Girl or Strawberry!
Why?

la la la hey is that Danny Bonaduce?
Utterly average. Sounds like all the crap they pipe into public buildings.

Oh, hilarious. We'll see how hard you're laughing if someone close to you takes his own life someday, schmuck.

Why comment on your statement? It speaks volumes about the person responsible for it. {#Wave}{#Ass}{#Zip-lip}

I'm so glad I don't know you. And I feel sorry for those who do.

There is. Get a life.

What's with all the hate? Anybody who had a Star Wars poster on their bedroom door is OK in my book.
I'm all for Star Wars. For me it's not so much the lyrics that are annoying, it's the music and vocal delivery.

then you need to read or really listen to the lyrics
Sorry for this dude's childhood. I had a good dad.
sounds like the closing song to a Jennifer Aniston movie. Roll credits. EDIT: Hey, maybe it is... just notice the album title.
The spoken word intro is a great segue from Louis Armstrong.
