Nice music but that singing is terrible. It's be nice to hear someone else do this tune.

Never again please!!!

Sarcastic cynicism. The fact that alot of people didn't catch it was the only reason it "hit."

I like the cd version much better. I am noticing a depressing slide into a decidedly folk orientation in the tunes here lately. We are losing the great eclectism that attracted me to this station in the first place. As David Lowry (Cracker, Camper Van) has remarked, "What the world needs now is another folk singer like I need a hole in my head."
Whelp, there you go. It's true what they say about opinions.

This is their song. A completely different version was released on their CD "A Hundred Lovers." This version, however, was only available on an EP that came out about 6 months before the release of "A Hundred Lovers." I bought the full length CD, thinking I was getting this great acoustic version, and instead got the album version, which is nowhere near as good. So I hit up my local indy record store contact and he was able to run down a copy for me. (Pre-internet for me)

Wow! Interesting acoustic take on this song. I've only heard the other version. I like this, but then again Timbuk 3 could do no wrong in my book
