Hey, what did you hear me say
You know the difference it makes
What did you hear me say

Yes, I said it's fine before
I don't think so no more
I said it's fine before
I've changed my mind
I take it back

Erase and rewind
'cause I've been changing my mind
I've changed my mind

So where did you see me go
It's not the right way, you know
Where did you see me go
No, it's not that I don't know
I just don't want it to grow
It's not that I don't know
I've changed my mind
I take it back

I loved this song at the time and it honestly seemed like it went by everyone else. So slick and cool. Where did those 25 years go?

i thought that, too.
Yes…

Cool tune.  Imagine how many fewer comments there would be about the misheard lyrics if those people had just read the song title.

Where's the fun in that?!?!
Sweater puppies!
I like this song
8, without a doubt !
Erase & rewind

I don't know if I like this song for itself, or the Cherry 2000 video clip.

Even though we would've liked them to be Danish, Bill, I'm afraid Cardigans is a Swedish band :-)

Cheers from sunny Denmark! :-)

Love the M Mmmm at the beginning.

Many fine memories of the 90's to this tune. {#Bananajam}
great music, one hears not in Germany,
great{#Ask}

Love this voice.
OK Hippostar deserves a repeat comment.  'Cause I've so often gotten lyrics wrong. "Rasin & Redwine"??  Too hilarious.
Erase and rewind.  Not too sure about the rest of the lyrics but GOD I've so often to go to "Erase and Rewind".  I wish the girls were of the same ilk.
This whole album floored me when it came out. A darker, more serious escalation from their lounge pop roots. I left most of what I listened to back in the 90s in the 90s, but this album transcends what was going on at the time and is still a favorite.
this song makes me feel like ive been dipped in warm custard.
A raisin, red wine?

Yep - kudos to you Vikings for producing such great bands, and to RP for being so fond of Scandinavian music {#War}

Which reminds me of an apocryphal tale. A group of men and women were in a restaurant in Dublin, and the waiter, twigging that they were tourists, asked where they were from, to which they replied "Sweden". "Ah," says the waiter, "you're all Vikings", to which they nodded enthusiastically. "It's good to see", says the waiter, "that you've brought your own women with you this time" ;-)

I'll get me horned helmet...

Get outta heah Fred!
great song, I never heard before..
That's what I call a sexy voice, lovely.
Loved the bass-heavy opening but kind of goes downhill from there. Amason is still my favorite new(ish) Swedish group.

Not sure if the Cardigans are still on the go but I have just realised that they remind me of Goldfrapp. Both excellent exponents of their genre - whatever it might be called.
Godlike!

The drum sounds like it was lifted from "Another One Bites the Dust"!
that is a great opening hook, and maintaining.....impressive.
great segue from Love will tear us apart to this sultry Cardigan's tune!

I had Long Gone on repeat for weeks when I first picked it up.  Really a great album from start to finish.  I generally enjoy everything they put out.

Nope, don't think that's what the tune is about...

I had never paid attention to The Cardigans,
but for some reason I picked up their last record "Super Extra Gravity" a few years back.
(I must have read a positive review somewhere)

I gotta say, it's one of the more enjoyable albums I have purchased in recent years.
Nothing ground-breaking about it.  It's just good solid rock'n roll.

Perhaps I should investigate some of their other material.

They're both "rock" singers.  Rock and pop are not exclusive.

As for sounding like Madonna - you just need more exposure.  The similarities pretty much end at pop-rock with female vocals.

If I told you it was my opinion that mold was delicious and strawberries tasted like poison, you'd rightly assume something was wrong with my tongue.

Not sounding like MadDonna to me either. Madonna can't hold a note so well and her voice is harsh. Nina has a much softer melodic sound. Cardigans any day over Madonna.

Oh, and this is so not ROCK.  Sounds quite poppy to me (and likeable).

10?  No way.

This has held up over the years. Must be an 8.
a very underrated band; one of the few with a female lead singer that, for me, bridge the smart/sexy gap; usually its one or the either and the Cardigans do it well. this song has aged well too considering it must be about 10 years old by now
this album is awesome.
Annoying....
haven't heard this in a long time.

This is rediculous, like MTV is the deciding factor whether something is valuable!! The Cardigans can produce a decent, if mediocre, catchy tune, but when I saw them live at Lillith Fair I was astounded at how terrible they were! This hot blond girl can't sing!

Yes, on MTV there arent the best song. Maybe the best videos. However, the the most advertised song. Good music dont need pretty videos. ;)

I will give this song a 8. I liked that one video they had, Love me Love me. Finally a band that actually is valuable enough to have had a video on MTV once. THis station plays all these crap bands that never made videos. There goes their credentials all of a sudden. THis blonde girl is hot too!

Welcome to a world where people don't act stereotype. I like ist to be surprised when Bill presents his mood via the playlist.
