Maybe it's just because I'm a piano player, but I really can't stand this at all. No subtlety, no expressiveness, no inventiveness. Makes me think of the overly-earnest guys that would lurk in the student union common rooms interminably hacking away at the battered old pianos with that smug sanctimony that broadcast the thought that they believed they were blowing peoples minds. Insipid drivel.
I'm not a piano player. I can't stand it either. The guy sounds like he's aspiring to be the next George Winston. Which can't be good.

Bulls**t! Just saw him in an intimate setting. He doesn't just play "new age" music. He uses the piano as a collection of different instruments. The keys as percussion, the strings he reaches into piano and pushes and pull on them to bend the pitch. Hell, I've seen him use a violin bow!

Done.
I'm with DoctorHooey, flatcat, sirrus, and so many others below. This reminds me of my 16 year-old nieces and nephews who hammer away and think their beautiful playing is so profound.  Plus it looks like that piano and bench were photoshopped into the picture.  ...Which is actually preferred to really putting a $50,000 piano out into a cutover cornfield....  "uh, yeah, can we borrow your piano for a cool picture?"

Well said. Like much "new age" music, it goes nowhere. Has no real melody, no real resolution, no highs, no lows, no voice. Just a mindless progression of arpeggio'd (excuse my neologism) chords. Quintessence of emo. Other than that, it's great!

No, nothing special, but I like it so there. Solid 7, and never getting any better.

You hit the nail on the head with that one. This (very bad) piano player concurs completely.
this one bored me to death on the magnatune podcast, and it's boring me to death now...
...wow, this just flowed seamlessly out of slow show - pretty good on that merit alone...
Some say that it is preferable to practice piano chords at home rather in the studio.

nice music, bad cover art and clothes
Very nice!
What? Of all piano solos, why this? No distinguishing features. Bland.

When this started out I was expecting to hear "Tell me why I don't like Mondays"
