Lyrics:

You, you're not the first to ask
And probably not the last
And i don't expect you to understand

Why i stayed upon this rock
After the birds had gone
And all of the waves turned to sand

I am a lighthouse
In a desert and i stand alone
I dream of an ocean that was here a long time ago
And i remember his cool waters and i still glow

These days, the sunlight has bleached my paint
And the moonlight has made it plain
That nobody needs me to call them home
But i swear there was a time when i
Would shine for him through the night
And he was the only ocean that i have known

I am a lighthouse
In a desert and i stand alone
I dream of an ocean that was here a long time ago
And i remember his cool waters and i still glow

Now my lantern bears a crack
And i know he will not be back
But i will leave the light on forever

I am a lighthouse
In a desert and i stand alone
I dream of an ocean that was here a long time ago
And i remember his cool waters and i still glow
I like it!
Song is good, but I vote for 'Best Album Title Ever'. Very cool...
This album is beautiful, just wish she was coming to the UK.  Maybe if i keep an eye out i'll catch her in Deutschland where she was born.
Teetering dangerously close to Jewel territory.
1 <== 3            Ugh!

She has a pretty voice but the song is a little ho hum.

She's coming to Fort Collins, Colorado this week!  {#Smile}
At first I thought this was Mindy Smith.  I like this after a couple of listens.  I'll stay tuned, as usual.
Beautiful voice but I'm not sure why female vocals that are not melodic just don't do much for me.

Nice.

No, sorry. Antje starts grating on the ear after only a couple of listens. I've listened to Jonatha for many years and don't ever get tired of her voice, but then I'm not at all thrilled with her (alleged) stance against Internet radio.

Lovely voice but:

" I am a dandelion."

" I am a lighthouse."

I am a noticing a trend here.....

Yes, exactly so. The more I hear of this woman the more I like.

Soothing while searching.
Pretty voice!
Sweet song.
