Caravan is comin', all guitars are strummin'
Chief is sitting high with gold across the chest
I'm just a little chavo, I don't even own a gitar
But mama they got girl that I love the best

Lela lela lela, lela pala tute
Jas kana meres, mirala pala late
Lela lela lela, lela pala tute
Aah aah aah, aah aah ai!

[??]
Mishto!

Lela lela lela, lela pala tute
Jas kana meres, mirala pala late
Lela lela lela, lela pala tute
Jas kana meres, mirala pala late

Caravan is comin', all guitars are strummin'
And says old Hidano: ''"Boy, forget about the bling,
Here is a gitara for you my little chavo
If you slave to kissing, you gotta play this thing"''

Lela lela lela, lela pala tute
Jas kana meres, mirala pala late
Lela lela lela, lela pala tute
Jas kana aah, aah aah ai!

[??]
Mishto!

Caravan is leavin' and her breast is heavin'
Lord this kind of love cannot be untrue
I'm a little chavo but I learned a one thing
Girls they like the kissing as much as we do!

Lela lela lela, lela pala tute
I'm dying, I'm dying, dying after you
Lela lela lela, lela pala tute
Girls they like the kissing as much as we do

Lela lela lela, lela pala tute
Jas kana meres, mirala pala late
Lela lela lela, lela pala tute
Jas kana aah, aah aah ai!

It sure does, then a party broke out and everyone started dancing. Great song for those of us that like a good party.

Than you for this link!

I understand what you mean, and agree that they are not "brilliant" (only a handful of those on the planet, as in "Jimmy Hendrix").

But they have their golden nuggets within the band...
Their violinist Sergey Ryabtsev (born September 11, 1958) is a classically-trained
Russian musician. He was also a teacher in the music school. And he kills it live!

Their (ex?) bassist Thomas "Tommy T" Gobena is also very good.

They changed a lot of musicians in the band, some were really good.
If your bar mitzvah theme was a rave.
One of the best live bands I've ever listened to.

Incredible experience, hard to describe.

I've been chasing their concerts ever since!
A song one would never hear anyplace but on Radio Paradise,  And it fits right in!

Hmm. A Ukrainian that sounds like Russian. Mkay.

Doesn't it sound festive? Sounds like a good time.
Fun!! Big Smiles.
These guys are crazy. Mayhem on stage, wild music. dancing and shouting. Nothing else like it on the planet.
Dude - pull up you pants.
5.2 ???? Absurd. Once described as 'sounds like The Pogues and The Clash met in Russia and had a fight'...... One of the most fabulous bands you'll ever see live, 11/10

I thought they sounded like Ukrainians.

These guys are a HOOT!!!
Come on, guys! think of borat and you'll love them
If you haven't seen it, watch Everything is Illuminated (2005). Gogol Bordello's frontman Eugene Hütz's stars together with Elijah Wood in Liev Schreiber's directing debut. The band also makes a cameo appearance. No car chases, but worth the time. And Wood ends up with another ring.

They would need to be very big beers ...
I've seen the live show several times; don't miss it! Albums don't quite have the sweat.
The Muppets had a broader musical impact than I have heretofore realized.

Guy probably doesn't have a musically inclined bone in his body! Not to mention....if a man can't write his own speeches, CERTAINLY would seem beyond his ability to write a song!!!  And, God forbid the world EVER hears D.J. Chump singing!!!

No such thing as too much Gogol Bordello

I know I "shouldn't" like this, but I do...so go ahead and hate me.
It all makes more sense when you wear purple

A W  F U L

this is what it sounds like, when the genius of bill turns into nero and burns his built city of splendid music.....
My lowest rating ever for a RP tune..."3"  Still kinda liked it
after a half a bottle of merlot and a marijuana cookie...
GB is punk rock. Ignore the haters.
Grateful for the full spectrum of musical genres! Nice Find Bill!

Huh?
Anything by Gogol Bordello gets a 7 at minimum from me and only goes up from there.

Got to love this band; absolutely mental live!!!
Well, this appears to be a divisive choice on Bill's part, but it is different. It has that going for it I suppose!!
Like an accordion scraped across a blackboard.
...and yet, my foot is tapping along. Can't be all bad then?
I don't know about this one LOL! I think I would enjoy it more after a few vodka drinks.....
something endearing about this band
maybe because it sounds like Oscar the Grouch took up polka rock
Sounds like the language of the Minions.

Yep.  But a room full of drunken Russians would probably already have an accordion.
Oh I love this band

And DANCE!

This made me laugh. Never heard it before on RP. And I sense that Bill will always have it in rotation no matter the score. Any song with a 5.0 is probably excellent but polarizing.

Then you should get out more.

There's LOTS of bad music out there, and this isn't half-bad.  Imagine it's part of the soundtrack to Snatch.

well......that happened
For the one or two folks out there who like this band, go see them live. They are incredible.

Trying hard to like this but no luck.  Sounds like a fun group of fellas, though.

Can't go from 4 to 5 for me - at least this song, and doesn't make me wanna delve any deeper.
I can't understand why so many people hate this. It's brilliant.
I would normally rate this a six, just because I like Gogol Bordello, and this is a decent example from them.

But the number of people rating this a 1 makes me like it enough to give it a 7. Does that make me a jerk? Maybe. Maybe...

Yay!,
That does it. U convinced me mr. president. Build that wall!
Hated it the first few times I heard it but its growing on me now and made me smile but still a 5.
Absolut garbage.

Sacha…? is that you?
Might this be the lowest rated song on RP? I'm not used to seeing 4.8s, with 25% giving it a 1.

I was going to crap on it, but the fierce energy is having a good effect on my opinion.
I tell people about how great RP is all the time but fear this is the "music" they first experience, bottom of the barrel  : (
I hate this.  Please stop playing it.
Love them! Going to see them tomorrow night at the Fillmore in CLT NC. Thanks for getting me in the mood early!
Just saw them in New Haven, CT on March 19.  They were great!  So much energy in the room.
{#Devil_pimp}zesty ! reminds me a lot of the romaniacts
Love LOVE LOOOOOVE this!  Seeing them live is an experience!!!
I'm sure I would love this if I was in a bar drinking many beverages.
Variety is the spice of RP.
Every time I here this I feel like joining the revolution.

Yup.
The ooooooonly way to fly.
Love it.  Reminds me of being in Sammy's Roumanian Steakhouse in NYC.  If this band hasn't played there they should.  Pass the vodka!
He seems to be having a good time.  Probably all that matters.
Thanks Bill,  this is why I am here.
Yes, why not? It's good to be surprised. And it ends just when you're getting tired of it.

Ha Ha, makes me think of Hava Nagila.  Makes sense, after I checked them out, turns out much of the band's sound is inspired by Gypsy music, mixed with punk and dub.   Very good, very weird.  Its COOL!
If you like this at all, go see them live. They do not disappoint.
after the genius seague with orton, joni, martyn i can only see this as a "musical provocation" from bill - like an artist who destruct his painting after presentation...

otherwise this would be too much of a musical frustaration....
Not the most mainstream song here on RP... but once I got over the weirdness of this and stopped trying to take it seriously, I had to smile for the rest of this work of ... whatever.
This sucks.

May i ask what means "periodically" to you ? Thank you upright for your serious answer.
I liked it. I liked it a lot. It's just me, and my state of mind, i know. Maybe,  Super Taranta! , where are no russinan influences involved would bring us together. I hope. From Romania with love.
Whoa! That was really annoying to say the least.
Perfectly annoying! Glad to hear shit periodically though. This is why I love RP!
i love this little nuggets of musical.. musical..  musical..  hum, the word(s) escape me.

I mean...
This track is THE shit!!  Maybe it's the irreverence, sort of a TMBG crossed with Borat sound to it, both of which I really enjoy...so I've rated it an eight and won't look back!  Thanks as always, BnR...and Long Live RP!!
the average rating of this marvellous track makes me think about most of RP listeners as pure snobs ;)
No offence... BTW These guys are very good live, I mean in musical way, not only by their "punk charisma"
whatever, 7!

 Thank you!  I was listening to this song just now and I knew it from somewhere but no idea where or who had sung it.  I thought someone might have left a comment to tell me, and here it is. {#Laughing}

Reminds me a lot of some old klezmer music (look it up!) that I listened to as a kid.  I find it impossible to listen to this without nodding my head in time with the music.  Now if only I understood what they were singing...
