I can count a million reasons that I am standing here
But not one changes anything and it's not clear
Something stronger than me is turning these wheels
And I can't keep ahead of the way that I feel
The way that I feel

Remembering the faces that passed me on my way
Always going somewhere well they are still today
And I've been holding on to what I thought it was mine
But I can see it clearly, it's time

To let go, freefalling now
But I won't hit the ground
Armed with love I can turn around
Faith don't let me down

What I'm trying to say is nothing stays the same
It's like living in the moment never stepping out
A little trust is what it's all about

Let go, freefalling now
But I won't hit the ground
Armed with love I can turn around
Faith don't let me down

'Cause I've been holding on to what I thought was mine
And I can see it clearly, it's time

To let go, freefalling now
But I won't hit the ground
Armed with love I can turn around
Faith don't let me down

What I'm trying to say is nothing stays the same
It's like living in the moment never stepping out
A little trust is what it's all about

Let go, freefalling now
But I won't hit the ground
Armed with love I can turn around
Faith don't let me down
Faith don't let me down

Don't let me down...

Anyone else getting Morcheeba here?

That's a good thing, by the way.

It's someone else's voice so it sounds different

I love Judie Tzuke - I've seen her half a dozen times.  These days she often tours with her daughters Bailey and Tallula on backing vocals.  Great to hear her on RP.

Yes.
Hope and Charity live down the road.
Wrong cover with the large view
"Welcome to the Cruise" blew me away when it came out, despite the fact that the US LP was horribly mixed!
I had to re-equalize it to play it on my college radio show.
Judie's is a great story of success despite a lot of ups and downs.
Wow, I remember being given one of her albums back in 81, Never heard from her again. Guess I wasn't listening too carefully.

Sounds good.

Hey RP - these are the wrong lyrics for this song.

Thanks for pointing that out. Fixed.

Wow, I'd given up all hope of seeing Judie here after having several submissions to the LRC turned down... She now has her own label "Big Moon" and web site. She's best known for the gorgeous "Stay with me 'till dawn" from her first album "Welcome to the Cruise", which gave her some chart success and features on many compilations.

Have been a fan since uni days (can you tell?!) and her voice is still stunning. So glad to see her make it onto RP. Nice one, whoever got these two tracks onto the playlist!

heh heh. you're welcome. :->
but seriously, i played the shit outta that tape (Welcome to the Cruise). love love love her voice.

coincidence...or are Bill and I connected via the ESP? why only two days ago I posted "gee, whatever happened to Judie Tsuke?" and my FB friends are all like "who?" and I'm like "jeez, weren't you around in the 70's?" and then Bill spins this.
hmm....
Love it!

How beautiful..

No, me trying to sing this would sound vocally uncomfortable.  She sounds fine.
Lyrically the color grey.

"live by faith, not by sight"
i wonder if she lives in france yet?

{#Biggrin}
I think I still have two of her early albums on vinyl. I've been a fan for a long, long time. Nice to hear her again.

I've never heard her before. Nice clean arrangement that lets her excellent voice come through.
Very cool and listenable.
LOVELY-LOVELY!
She has a sweet voice and I like the production.  That drumbeat is more active and prominent than one is used to hearing in most songs of the genre of "female singer/song-writer".  It kind of gives the tune a slight downtempo groove.  Nice.

I don't quite know why, but this one really caught my ear this morning.

Ok, I have heard that this sounds like Joni Mitchell, Sarah Mclaughlin and Annie Lennox. Well, that explains why I don't like it!{#Lol}

Christine McVie is ok in my book.

Picking up a little vintage Christine McVie in there somewhere.
This touched a nerve this morning. 8 {#Sunny}

Yeah, I hear Sarah in this, also. I'll have to check out more of Judie's work.

Yup same here {#Eh}
Kind of a more throaty Joni Mitchell.  I'll abstain from rating it - I need a few more listens.  So far, it's pleasant, but nothing jumps out at me yet.

Neither here nor there for me.
