Keep on moving to the first rays of dawn
Keeping it on till the sun moves on
Keepin till the night time all along
On and on- I keep singing my song
I said, these ways aren't those ways
Sometimes I get so fased
But just know that ill always stay
Cause your my light through the haze

Its time for a champion
Soothe the soul of the land
Mend the heart from the sea and the sand
Until the sun comes up again [x2]

Reach for the sky
Keep your eye on the prize
Forever by my side
Your my golden sunshine
Fits raining in your mind
So push those clouds aside
Forever by my side
Your my golden sun

Sunset I let myself down
Found the ground beneath my heart gone
No more words were there to speak
On that day my song was born
Never meant to leave you all alone
Said I'd be your shelter from the storm
Now your clothes have all been torn
Kingdom sacked attacked and dethroned

Its time for a champion
Soothe the soul of the land
Mend the heart from the sea and the sand
Until the sun comes up again [x2]

Reach for the sky

Keep your eye on the prize
Forever by my side
Your my golden sunshine
Fits raining in your mind
So push those clouds aside
Forever by my side
Your my golden sun

It's the way of the world
Your on your own
Time to grow and be a man
Want to fly high like peter pan
No more never never land
So loose your backpack filled with sand
Come along now take my hand
We'll walk together- walk forever

Reach for the sky
Keep your eye on the prize
Forever by my side
Your my golden sunshine
Fits raining in your mind
So push those clouds aside
Forever by my side
Your my golden sun

Reach for the sky
Keep your eye on the prize
Forever by my side
Your my golden sunshine
Fits raining in your mind
So push the clouds aside
Forever by my side
Your my golden sunshine

Call me crazy but I like it... also I can't  see what so many people dislike about it... unless it sounds like their kids' music to them, and I guess, to some folks, that's not allowed. Just guessin' I guess :-)
I felt I needed to skip this one.  But then I saw the rating and comments and decided to listen to the rest.   It's not something I would listen to on purpose (again) but a collective 3.8 just seems mean.
Indeed, mixing it up is great...Compliments to RP for continuing to do this...However, this is absolute shite...for a moment I thought I was listening to mainstream Top 40 on Terrestrial Radio - where every song sounds the same...Yikes...makes me want to jump off a tall building...Its really bloody awful.

BUT THIS is simply non worthy RUBBISH - the same sound as one can sadly hear on all the commercial radios, fashion boutiques, elevators etc. around.

everyone has a bad day once in a while - this was the one of Bill/Rebecca...

no big deal - just cancel it from the library please

Sometimes I think Bill is just messing with us to see if we are paying attention!  It's all good...  And a reminder that we really are hearing really good music almost all the time.
Wow, 3.8 is an all time low score from the ones I've seen. I wonder how songs are chosen to remove from the mix, does anyone have any insight into this?

One other point I've wondered about ratings, is there a place to see the highest rated songs?

Cheers!
Sounds like mainstream formulaic bullshit (sorry.) This is not worthy of Radio Paradise. Please stop playing it :)

This is awful! I'm really shocked it's on radio P!

This tune is... meh.

But I LOVE it when RP mix it up
Shocked to hear this play on RP and also to see that it was released as late as 2012.. the melody is so bland and simplistic that I thought it was a pop relic that never made it in the 90's.  I guess this makes me more grateful for more complex and thought provoking music!  I rated it as a 2 only because the lyrics are optimistic.
Lots of words that end in and
my lyrics are not in demand
there's talk on RP that we will be banned
because our music has been panned.

Bill probably plays this one to check whether we still pay attention. :D
Hum, I'm not on Paradise ?
Please remove!

Yes there is, his Unplugged is tremendous
It's a catchy pop tune, but doesn't seem very eclectic.
The only word I can come up with sounds like "oig-uck". Definite PSD material.
It's just...wrong!

Sorry - not trying to impose my taste on anyone or anything, but I really don't like this. Auto-tuned rubbishy pap (won't even do it the compliment of calling it pop) to my ear, I'm afraid. No attempt to do anything of any melodic interest in the backing whatsoever, just a mind-numbingly dull rhythm track.

I really needed some mind-numbing today.  Thanks RP!

Is this a joke? I'd give it a negative rating if I could, 1 is simply too much.
Relax... and enjoy :) Music means different things to different people. I won't rate this, I don't particularly like it. But I surely think it's refreshing :)
Sometimes I just want to dance! Keep up the good work Bill!
What?  How DARE Bill not play exactly what you want to hear 24/7?  Seriously, I don't care for this either and was surprised to hear it here, but come on.  Ain't that what we dig about RP?  Sure, I hear  some things I don't like at all (mainly stuff from the ever tortured singer/songwriter vein), but it is totally worth it to be exposed to new stuff.  Ignore the whiners, Bill, keep throwing stuff at us...we'll keep whatever sticks!

I second (or is it 'third'?) these RP'rs!!

{#Angel}
Rap meets reggae meets pop. No!
oh....crap.....run!.... p. frickin s d
I'm hoping for some nice fresh Spice girls on the PSD...that'd be good...yeah...Spice girls...."Tell me what you want, what you really really want"
True that!...

One of the things I like most about RP? That in spite of what we all think, sometimes Bill and Rebecca just say "Hey, we're the DJ's, it's our station, and we're going to play what we like."

Right on!

P.s. I was bopping all over my kitchen to this song as I was cooking dinner...

oh my. how vicious can comments go.

i think the song is funny...bubblegum pop galore. I'll survive it...with a smile.

if I were Bill I'd keep playing and playing and playing this song just for its effect on the commenting section...
Chav FM, there's no place for this sh1t in Paradise, Bill.

OK, so you addressed us correctly, but did you have anything you wanted to say to us?  Or was that kind of like, "Hey! Music Snobs! Howzit going?"

Funny, but that's exactly what I did too.  It completely blew my concentration and my thought was, "Did the station just change to one of the local pop stations on FM that play auto-tuned hip-hop."

I love an eclectic mix of music, but this one went over the top.  ;-)
This song slowly made its way to the forefront of my consciousness with the thought, "Did my radio somehow get tuned to a Clear Channel Top 40 stations?"
Total Pants!
Music snobs.....
buy a comb.

Yes, this is far too polished, plain, and formulaic.  The definition of Sold Out, I'd say.  This guy can be so much better than this.

Autotune aside, this is perky little ditty about at the same level as "Walking on Sunshine" and "Take your Momma Out Tonight".  Clever in a bubble gum sort of way.  I say different strokes for different folks, so stop the complaining and move on.
Man there's a lotta people who need to lighten up here....
Utter, utter shit. Bill, why do you play this almost universally despised crap?
I thought I enjoyed Matisyahu, but this is too much synth pop for me.

Hmm.

It's a conspiracy, I tell you.  I've heard worse.
I love how every angry commenter has clearly been taken out of their comfort zone. This tune was pleasant and happy, and its length was just right. As long as it's not overplayed it's an interesting addition to the playlist. Set up Vienna Teng nicely.

To all those who have been irked from their slumber to moan about Bill's choice — like a cold Guinness halfway through a session, consider this a palate cleanser. ;-)
This is some serious degradation of quality on RP...
Haven't awarded a sucko-barfo for a long time, until now.

How can this auto-tuned slop get past the LRC??
Please do not play this music.
For a moment I had to come back to my browser to double check that I had RP On.... what the hell?
will turn the volumen down for some minutes...

yeah, but ...most artists on RP are trying, trying to be original, trying to be provocative, trying to be expressive, trying to be good....this one is just trying my patience.
Bill, really?  Distorted-voice-electro-pop on Radio Paradise?  Shame!
American Idol finds its way to RP.  {#Eek}

JUST UNBELIEVABLE RP plays this!

A SHAME AS FOLLOW-UP TO STEELY DAN!

WEIRD-WEIRD-WEIRD!

Is this what happened to Backstreet Boys?

Wow, this sucks..... Whats next, Gaga?
It made me stop my work and walk over to the computer to make sure I was still listening to RP.... Huh...

I suddenly have the urge to buy a Sprite?

I dunno guys, it's not so bad for overproduced commercial dross.  4 or maybe even a 5 since I'm feelin the Sunshine today.  {#Sunny}
brave choice
More NSync ??
What PSD is for....
Dreadful
Not this Cr#$ is in heavy rotation?!

Bill has just tried to excuse the inclusion of this in his playlist. There is no excuse. It's crap.

no he's not and no he doesn't sound good, he sounds like a boy band and reggae? where? when?. If you mean "alternative rock" in terms of something that is NOT rock well then yes...and in terms of not good....well it gets my vote. I don't often make votes of 1 but good grief...what was that? I'd much rather hear Madonna, in fact I'd much rather hear Nsync...at least they are a "BOY BAND" and proud of it..
blech

NSync..
what the hell?       hey bill your teenage debutante niece from boston has taken control....make er stop!!!!!
Far more diluted-pop material than I'd expect from Matisyahu (or RP for that matter).  This will probably make him rich.
Really on this station?
I know rp is pretty eclectic .......but really, this?? Utter dross.

Matisyahu
Questionable.
Bill should really follow this with the Brady kids singing "Sunshine Day"

My Squeezebox seems to have re-tuned to BBC Radio 1 with Fern Cotton.
fun. funky {#Good-vibes}
