Great rendition of a classic
Buena Vista Social Club also does a kick ass version of this! It is on the RP playlist.

First time to hear this. Sign of a great melody is that it sounds good regardless of the instrumentation. Not familiar with how difficult the kora is to play but I like its biting tone.
Not bad. I was going to give it an 8 since I love this song, but no lyrics. Had to downgrade to a 7. The Buena Vista Social Club's version is superior IMO.

Interesting version of a great song but it feels a bit "de-syncopated" to me, like some of the rhythmic feel that made the original so special to me got lost in translation.

I totally disagree. These musicians add nothing but sound tweaked instrument. The original gifted their identity, verve, and cultural uniqueness to the chorus of world music.

I liked this song but 3/4 of the way through, it got into the annoying area of repetition, to where I was saying "enough already!", but then, after it got away from the rut it was stuck in, it closed nicely.
